I love this light! Aputure described it as the swiss army knife of lights and that describes it well. I use it as a back or hair light for interviews and testimonials. Fills the task of the ARRI 650 from my tungsten kit but runs on a v mount battery pretty much all day. Will buy more of these… good price for a great light.

Everyone on shoots comments on how great this light it! All of their lights are great, but for the money ... this thing is a must have for video. Works great for portraits too!! Trust me on this!!

First order the lamp had a piece of metal going loose inside. Second order the inside of the bag was damaged and the battery pack connexion didn't work.

The media could not be loaded.  I'm stupidly impressed with the engineering that went into this light.The quality was above my expectations, along with the power versatility.Even the carry bag was designed for this light and included pieces.Controls for using the light are very intuitive, only looking at the instructions for a brief moment.The setup on this is normal, you can have it set up in only a few minutes.Mount Light to a light stand.Decide on how you want to power the light.Three options: AC power, D-tap battery, or 2 NP-F batteries.AC power cord is 13' long, and has a Red hoop and loop tie cable.All 3 options will connect with the waterproof DC input connector.Mounting of all 3 power options will mount with the V-Mount on the left side of the Yoke.This is such a great feature! No batteries or cord to get in your way.When using NP-F batteries, use 2 for full output and 1 for half output.Using the lightYou can control the CCT in increments of 50, most lights only adjust in increments of 100.Color temperature range is 2700K-6500K.The brightness adjusts in increments of 1%. From 0%-100%Most all of the adjusting can be done with the 2 button dials.Menu on the left and OK on the right.The bottom dial is the Focuser Knob. You can adjust from 15-45 spot-flood beam angle.Clockwise for spot and counter-clockwise for flood.The power button is the white round silicone looking button below the OK dial.Adjust the angle of the light, adjust with the red knob on the right of the Yoke.It's more of a rosetta mount. Easy to adjust and locks well into place.The Bowens mount adapter worked great and used with one of my reflector diffusers.The barn doors again only take a few seconds to install and adjust very easily.The entire barn door can rotate once installed!Interesting feature and unexpected, but I do like.You can also set the dimming curve, options are: Exp, Log, S-curve, Linear.One last cool feature is the Studio Mode.Set to yes and when you connect power, the light will come on automatically, no need to click the power button.Any heat or noise?The heat this LED light generates is almost none existent.Noise, nope, this is almost silent. Aputure is truly living up to its name for any content creator.I really did need something I could use as a spotlight for a couple of videos I am in the process of creating and this works well for that function and many others.Features that I love!-It comes with light modifiers, and an adapter that allows you to attach a Bowens mount soft box-You can adjust the focus of the light on the fixture-Unlike any other manufactures lights I own, I can leave this light on and plugged in and control it via the app at any time. so it can be mounted out of the way in a place where it cannot be reached. like a ceiling mount.-It is bi color so from the app I can change the color temp. Many other lights of this quality come in only 5600k. I can match room lighting if needed.-its made of metal, durable and should last a very long time.-The cooling fan is very quiet-Very easy to set up-Multiple options for power and comes with everything you need to power from two different battery types a 120v outlet power-Small in size and fits better in tight spaces-Comes with a fantastic carrying case that carries everything but a light stand!Cons - price for a beginner is high. - but if you purchase this light, you will not be disappointed and will be able to use it for so many different applications!I believe it is truly one of the best 60w lights on the market. if you have the budget, you really should consider this light. The media could not be loaded.  As shown in the video, I received the lamp with a loosen piece inside that makes a cling noise when moving the head. Not very reassuring for a so-called professional material. I don’t think you should have to go through the trouble of going out with a bulky package and make a replacement shipment when you ordered a costly item that shows flaws like this. There are other brands out there with simular products and quality, including mini zoom extension, that seem very proper, more reliable and satisfying with their customers issues.

A pair of these lights arrived just on schedule the day before a shoot. So far they are excellent. loads of good reviews on youtube about them.
