Quality, well made, minimalistic insulated bottle
Love this massive water bottle by Polar Gear! My 1L glass bottle finally smashed after a good few years and I must have knocked it against the tap or it just decided its time to crack in to bits. With ADHD, I tend to forget to drink water. One solution is to have a large water bottle or kettle within reach and I find myself drinking the whole litre though out the day.The polar gear bottle has a wide mouth that can fit large ice cubes or fruits and makes it much easier to clean inside. The green colour I received is a lovely dark Forrest green. The bottle comes well packaged in a cardboard tube and includes 3 lids with rubber grip lining to ensure tight seal - flat lid, tunnel spout lid with clip and a sports spout lid. I use the tunnel spout as I can carry this weighty 1L bottle by the handle. As it has a wide mouth, the bottle is quite large in diameter - around 10cm wide at the base so when full I have to use both hands as it’s heavy with 1L and too wide to grip properly if you have small hands.I have used the bottle for over a month and can say nothing has snapped off - the clipped seems to be made from hard plastic and I tested with some force to see if it will bend but it remained sturdy at the hinge. As others have mentioned, I agree it does not hold hot liquid as long as it stated, I got around 5 hours before it started to cool from piping hot and similar with ice in water so it’s not really a thermos bottle.Overall I recommend this bottle and I use it as my daily bottle whilst working at home, it’s robust enough to carry and Chuck around and the large capacity helps a lot with staying hydrated.

Lightweight, tough & keeps it temperature.
Polar Gear 1000ml Hydra Surge Kit -or simply a reusable drinking bottle/flask.With so many bottles on the market to choose from I was highly impressed with this one.Great range of colours and packaged in a stylish & sturdy cardboard tube which is fully recyclable and looks good if you were buying one as a gift. The bottle is well made, tough while still remaining lightweight to carry even when full. The insulation thickness and washer sealed lids keep the drinks hot, warm or chilled as stated. The product information says 6 hours for hot drinks & 24 hours for cold. I left fridge cold water in it for 24 hours and it really was he same temperature the next day. Boiling water from a kettle was still hand hot after 12 hours, in fact it hot enough to wash up with. While filled with hot liquid, the bottle remains cool to the touch, with the lid only being slightly warm, just let some steam out before sealing the drink spout to carry. The two lids both feature a hole to carry the drink, the drinking spout has a slight lip on the inside to aid safe drinking without the drink just gushing down your throat if taking a sip too eagerly. The seals are strong and prevent leakage even though the information sheets says to kept the bottle upright, at 1000ml keeping it upright might not always be possible, just use caution if carrying hot drinks. It has been easy to clean though I have not used or left any staining drinks in it yet.I love it, it will get lots of use most importantly - no more nasty plastic bottles!

Doesn't keep liquids warm for long
This bottle is alright if you want to keep liquids hot for a couple of hours or so. Goes cold after that.

Best bottle I’ve ever brought
I love this bottle. I’ve had a number of water bottles over the past few years. They’ve either been too small/ big or not durable enough. This is the perfect mix of both.It holds a litre of water which is perfect. Anymore and it would start to get too heavy. The stainless steel shell means it light enough to carry around and durable enough to withstand a few knocks and drops. It comes with two lids. One handled screw top lid and a smaller nozzle lid for easy sipping. It can hold hot or cold liquids. I’ve only used it for water however for ease of cleaning.£25 is a lot to spend on a bottle but I really think that this one is worth it! Really pleased with this.

Everything the description says and more... AMAZING bottle
Stylish and really well built. Polar gear stuff has never failed me and has always excelled above even some of the more well known brands. This bottle looks amazing, like really good and the seals on the bottle are excellent. The insulation lasts for ages and the size of it is just perfect for hiking if you want to take a hot drink with you.Two cap options so you can use it as a flask or just a straight drinking bottle.. it is a great product for either.Top Marks

Great size.
This came packed in a cardboard tube box. Included is an info leaflet.I really like the size of this. At 1lt whatever you've got inside is going to last.It comes with two different lids - a normal cap the other with a smaller twist cap that stays attached so that you can't lose it.I have tested it with boiling water. After 5 hours the temperature was 69.8°c and after 8 hours it was 59.5°c.I think that's plenty of time to keep tea or coffee hot.I am happy with this flask and would recommend
