The Pursuit of Lies, Mystery with a Romantic Twist (Paradise Valley Mystery Series Book 4)

I've just read all 4 in the series and have enjoyed them all. They are a good mix of romance & suspense. There is good continuity between books and characters to enjoy getting to know. Just one thing I found annoying, back references in books 2, 3 & 4 on how Emily reacted to Colin when they first met went on too long, the whole scene rewritten where a passing reference would of been enough. On the whole a good series and more would be nice.

Very enjoyable and certainly a page turner. This is the first book I have read of Debra Burroughs and look forward to reading more from this author.

Pursuit of Lies see’s Colin - Emily’s now fiance being accused of murder!All the evidence points to him - and the evidence is substantial at best - I had no idea how Emily would be able to help prove his innocence in this one!My heart was going, no surely Colin wouldn't do that to Emily - they are great together, but another part of me was wondering if Debra was taking a dark turn with the series and their relationship.This one had twists and turns that I wasn't able to predict (unlike the previous books) and I loved it!Did Colin murder the ADA? Do they manage to prove his innocence? You will have to read it to find out!

Love these books .good storyline really enjoyed them so will be reading the next one soon and looking for more of your books
