Adkins Cajun Seafood and Crawfish Boil - 12 OZ. All Natural

When I saw this Cajon Seasfood and Crawfish boil I thought of my husband as he loves to make a lot of seafood at home. So I figured it would be a good spice for him to try to put on some shrimp and things that he likes to eat. He has tried it on shrimp so far and said that a little goes along way as well as it has just the right amount of spices in it.He said that he enjoyed the taste that it gave to the shrimp plus he loves trying new things as well because he is always up for new spices on his food, because he gets tired of the same thing all the time. He even added it to the vegetables he cooked with it and said they tasted good also that this gave it all a little kick to it. He is looking forward to adding it to his fish also as well as other things but he did enjoy it and this bag will go a long way. I do a crab boil for the wife and myself every other weekend. We usually use another brand but I thought I would try this out for a change. I liked the spiciness and taste. Seasoned the crab and shrimp well but not to overpowering. I would buy this again

I wish they would've included a spice index in the listing. I bought this mix for a party I was cooking for to try something different. I'm glad I tasted a little pinch before I added to my Low Country Boil, it would've ruined it.

Growing up on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, I've eaten a lot of seafood and we have a traditional seasoning that comes in a little yellow box. When I saw Adkins Seafood and Crawfish Boil. I expected something along the same lines. This is completely different; I won't be using the yellow box again. Knowing that there are many out there with food allergies, I feel that I need to list the ingredients. Adkins is a combination of salt, red pepper, sugar, garlic, onion, clove, paprika, coriander and all spice. This seasoning is great on just about anything, not just seafood. It also has this little bit of kick that hits your palate in the back of your mouth. It kind of sneaks up on you. One minute you are eating and the next your nose is running and your grabbing a glass of water. I am not a huge fan of super spicy foods but my husband is. This is a nice in between place for both of us. There is a great recipe that comes on the front of the bag that I can't wait to try!. So far I've used this to season potatoes, and corn while we plan a larger get together later in the month with friends. I will be sure to use this on my shrimp! I recommend giving this a try if you are a fan of great flavors and a bit of heat. You get a 12 oz. bag, so it may be a good idea to have a spare spice jar around as you will most likely not use it all in one go. I've shared about a cup of this with a friend that eats crab legs on a regular basis and I've only used a few teaspoons/tablespoons to season anything at one time. (I'm only cooking for two so the meals are small) I still have plenty left. I received this product free to use in exchange for my honest an unbiased opinion.

Love this product. Very tasty, not gritty not to spicy just right. I received this in great condition very nice packaging. I used this over the weekend and it tastes great everyone loved it. I used to it on seafood for my family and our guests and it was loved by everyone. A product like this is hard to find where I live, so we all really enjoyed it.
