Second item that I bought, fast cooking time, easy to clean. My grandchildren loves breakfast with Mickey! The fist one my daughter “stole” it to her kitchen!!!!

Love the waffle maker, every waffle came out great, in case it helps, the magic number for me was 4 minutes. As I read on another post, it was worth every penny, especially when I saw the look of surprise on my granddaughters face. She said it reminded her of the hotels when we go to Disney World. The quality of the nonstick plates is great and clean up was a breeze.

My mother has a restaurant and I got this so the young customers could have a Mickey pancake, and they love it. We sell a lot of them. Easy to use. Just preheat, pour in batter and in about 3-4 minutes, you have a perfect sized pancake for kids. Even some adult customers order these for themselves. (Of course I had to buy one for me at home for my grandkids & me). Great & easy to use product.

I was glad to see this Mickey face waffle iron was back. I ordered it for my 4 year old grandson and year old granddaughter. I agree with the other reviewer the waffles are not crisp and are much more like a pancake and the same thickness as a pancake about 1/2 inch. If you look at the picture it is much thinner than a regular waffle. The kids liked them though and even my husband said they tasted pretty good. I used the recipe for buttermilk waffles on the inside of instruction booklet and it made about 10 waffles. I sprayed the iron before the first waffle and had no trouble with sticking. They came right out. I used a bit less than 1/2 cup batter per waffle and made sure all the spaces of the face were covered and area was filled almost to the top. The waffles came out perfectly after about 2 minutes of cooking. Nothing ran over to the outside of the form. The waffles come out with a clear impression of Mickeys face and the kids thought that was neat. Its a fun item to have though if you are wanting Belgian type waffles this is not going to do it. but if you want just a novelty item for the fun of it it will fill the bill. I paid $35 for mine on Amazon and would be hesitant to pay $75. It is a fairly sturdy appliance and easy to clean with a soapy wet dishcloth and than go over again with just a wet cloth and than dry. It's not huge so easy to store away. I am anxious to read others review of this item.

This makes the best waffles ever! They are kind of a cross between a waffle and a really thick pancake. It is almost fool proof, it hasn't let me make a bad one yet! Adults and kids alike love them and tend to eat more of them! The non stick finish works very well and you can add blueberries or pretty much whatever you like without ruining them.I do have one slight criticism and one suggestion because of it, The waffles do take a while to make (about 4 minutes each) and it makes one at a time so when making them for more than 4 people it takes a while. My suggestion is to do what I did and get two of them as it really speeds up the process. We have a large family when all together so having two is really a big help. The maker is small and storing two of them takes up less space than the old waffle maker they replaced. Hopefully the maker will eventually make a double one and solve the problem. I have one stainless and one red one and there is no difference so I would buy the cheapest one!

We purchased this product to make Mickey Mouse Pancakes for our kids while on our Disney vacation!! They came out perfectly just using regular pancake mix, made our Disney mornings get off to a magical start!
