ScarAway is working!
I had skin cancer removed three months ago, and my dermatologist recommended that I use ScarAway as much as possible once the stitches were taken out and the wound was closed. I have been using these discs for the past two months. As you can see, my scar has diminished quite a bit. It was Frankensteinish after the stitches were removed and had quite a lump too that has subsided over the past weeks. The discs were much larger than my area, so I cut them into strips that just covered the area. I wound up being able to use 4-5 strips from one disc, so that was a bonus. I sleep with them and wore them during the day for several weeks. It looked better than having it exposed. It looks more like translucent tape. It doesn’t have sunscreen though, so apply that first, because you want to keep it on for as long as possible. 12-24 hours even. I have no makeup on in the photos, but with makeup, my scar is hardly noticeable. Hopefully more so in a few months. I continue to use them at night.I had also tried biocumen because it has sunscreen, and I use that during the day under makeup if I don’t want a strip on my face, but I don’t think it works as well as these strips. I would highly recommend them for scars. At least sleep with them. And cut them to size.

I hate these
They don’t stick. They literally fell off or curled at the corners the entire time I wore them, after reading the directions several times. Also, when trying to put them somewhere safe to dry because they are multiple use, they literally will get every dust particle or pet fur or hair in the window attached to them, and when trying to lay them out to dry they just keep sticking to yourself fingers. They are frustrating and not worth all the money I spent on several packs. Also when you peel them from the sheet some of the silicone always rips of so you get like 3/4 of each circle you paid for

Too big for my needs, but good product
These stick really well, and are super convenient to use! Unfortunately, I made the mistake of not reading he description closely enough, so I didn’t realize that they are 1 inch wide. I was thinking they were much smaller, like the hydrocolloid patches you use for acne. I need some sort of silicone to use on a very small wound on my face, so a 1 inch disc is much too big. I was hoping for something like 1/8 inch in diameter, but unfortunately this didn’t serve my purposes. Good product; I just didn’t read the description closely enough.

Best Purchase
Surgery caused some keloid scarring (very minor in size) but they itched like crazy especially when clothing rubbed against the 3 that I had. I visited a dermatologist who injected cortisone to shrink them and it worked but those visits were tiring so I decided to try the silicone discs. It took some time (over 9 months) but the bothersome scar shrunk to just about flattened. I don't believe these will work on large scars, however the discs worked on my laproscopic scars that were less than 0.1 inch in length. Yes, it takes some time for them to shrink, but the discs are well worth it because it saves time and you apply them at home. I'm satisfied completely.

What a Difference
This product has reduced the appreance of my scars drastically. I actually burnt myself in the cleavage area of my chest. Eventually I developed keloids and I noticed how flat and smooth they are after using Scaraway discs. The patches stick extremely well under the pressure of water i.e swimming or a shower.

Scar Aways Works Wonders
I use these instead of the ScarAway strips when I need clear coverage of the scar. I burnt my arm (2nd degree burn from a straight iron) and the Scar Away Strips are working wonders. I use this occasionally as they have stick like a bandaid around the clear silicone. These would be great if it was for a scar on the face. When you use the Scar Away strips you can cut to fit (and reuse them if you want). Unlike these Discs the Strips have no real adhesive like these and the strips roll up and falls off unless I get creative with waterproof bandaids or tape. I highly reccomend these as well as the ScarAway strips.

Not for Sensitive Skin
Applied it twice, but it made my son's skin break out in the shape of the disc. It actually made the scar look worse. He has sensitive skin and this product only caused a reaction.

People who react to band-aid adhesive BEWARE
Adhesive allergic reaction for me. I love scar away and have used their products for years with no problems. For this product they have added a ring of adhesive around the silicone area to give a firmer hold. This is great for people without sensitive skin. For me, I react to some band-aids with redness and irritation and this product was no different. I’ll stick with the original product.

They're also transparent so you could easily wear it through the day on your face
I bought these for my daughter who got chicken pox and ended up with a really red, really big and deep scar on her cheek just next to her nose after the spot became infected. I gave the spot time to heal into a scar and then began research for things to use on it to promote scar fading as I didn't want my 4 year old to be left with such a visible facial scar if at all possible.I ordered these, and my only complaint was the length of time they took to arrive. I'm talking 3-4 weeks.Once they did arrive I found that they were large enough that I could cut them in half. There's a slightly less adhesive rim around the outside of the patch to allow you to apply without them sticking to your fingers.I noticed a difference in her scar within 3 or so days. Despite the product staging it's not known to reduce the pitting of a chicken pox scar it actually does appear to be flatter already. Also the colour has significantly reduced. I'd say we have now been using them 2 to 3 weeks and I am about to order another box as I am already so impressed with the results we are getting. The product said you'd see a difference in 4 weeks, but I definitely saw an improvement sooner. The product itself seems to be of a high quality and retains its stickiness for 12 hours overnight, and would probably continue to do so for longer if you choose to leave it on longer. They're also transparent so you could easily wear it through the day on your face.If you're concerned about an unsightly, visible scar I'd definitely give these a go.

Telief from discomfort from incision scar.
After a biopsy on my face I used these. Not entirely sure if it's natural healing or the discs have helped but I do know that when the area felt irritated, swelled the discs smoothed the area and stopped the irritating sensation. Still using as only a month after incision. I do feel they are helping.

Not impressed.
Not as good as Elastoplast. They fall off easily despite following the directions of how to apply.

... doctor I had this time did not use stitches like I was expecting but instead used thick plastic sutures ...
I had two moles removed and the doctor I had this time did not use stitches like I was expecting but instead used thick plastic sutures which left much worse scars than the cut that was made to remove the mole. So I ended up with some really ugly looking scars on my collar. So after a month and being very unhappy with the result I started trying these ScarAway pads. They have helped a lot! I had two scars, one was raised up and right on my shirt collar. After a week I felt that the skin was much softer, now it has been a five weeks and the scar is starting to get flatter and is not nearly as pronounced. The pads also have an excellent adhesive. I have been wearing them 24hrs a day for the last five weeks with no problem at all. Even after a a trip to the gym and a shower they stay on fine. I am really impressed. The one downside is the adhesive did leave a red circle on my skin, but seemed like a small price to pay. Since my scars were below my shirt collar it was not a big deal, but if yours are in a visible place it is something to consider.

Great for acne scars
This is a great product for acne scars. This is the third order I've placed for these silicone discs over the past year and they have made a big difference for speeding up the recovery of my acne scars and minimizing their appearance even with a single overnight treatment.I will typically cut these discs in half or a quarter and apply it to any bothersome scar areas right before I go to bed.Easy to use, noticeable difference pretty quickly, and one of the best scar treatment products I've tried.Would highly recommend for anyone with typical acne scars and I will most likely be ordering these again once I run out.
