i had gotten the scor-buddy before the mat. i love that little guy. its small enough to store on the top of my desk, so its easy to get to. (it had become a pain to get out my large scor tool every time i needed it. also, it took up so much space on my desk.) this smaller one is perfect for making cards and other smaller items. then i got the mini-mat to go with it. it fits right inside it and works very well. the mat is just 7 in by 7 in. you can use your craft knife on the mat with a ruler to cut cardstock and it will not damage your work surface. one side is lined and the other is plain. it's very sturdy (doesnt warp like alot of them}. i made a folder (7in by 7in) for gathering up glitter and embossing powder to return to the jars and it fits well also. i really love this system. i also got the scor-bug to make dotted lines. this whole system is very nice. i use them almost every day.

Fits perfectly in the Scor Pal.Great for card making or any other smaller project.

I have two other brands in larger sizes, but could not easily follow the correct "grooves". When I began using this I was more confident in getting the lines marked correctly. It is easy to use, easy to store and the perfect size for scoring the typical sized card. I recommend buying this.
