This is a really good light, especially for the price. The main light is extremely bright. I find the battery life is very good, it stays at top brightness for up to two hours (the longest time I have used it continuously). The flashlight part is nothing special, but I find that to be typical of lights like this. The flashlight seems like an afterthought. The battery was very low out of the box, it took several hours to charge it the first time.Here is how the LED indicators work for me. The meaning of the indications are based on my experience, there were no instructions included:Charging the light - When I plug the light in to be charged, the LED flashes red. After some time (it can be quite a while if the battery is low), the LED switches to steady red. At this point, if I unplug the charger, the LED either goes off, or changes to steady green. I believe off means close to but not at full charge, and steady green indicates full charge. You can use the light while it is charging.Charging other devices - A cable is included that allows you to connect the light via USB to a variety of other devices to charge them. When I plug the cable into the USB, I either get a red or a green LED. I assume the red means the battery is not charged enough to charge the other device, and green means sufficient battery to charge the other device. I have charged other devices regardless of LED color, and it has always worked fine. I have not tested the capacity of the charging, i.e., how many times can I charge my phone. You cannot charge another device while charging the light.Very good light overall. I agree with other reviewers, it would benefit from some instructions.

Works great. Rechargeable a huge plus

Not as bright as I had hoped for. No directions for charging included, but a search online said how to plug in and to wait for the charging light to turn green. The charging light has never turned green, so I use the light when the charging light is solid red. Like the title, it's OK. Not great, but useable.

Order was received very promptly. The light works great and charges very quickly which I’m happy about. I use the light for working under the hood or underneath of a vehicle. The light is compact and easy to handle and for getting into small places. I do a lot of my work at night outside and find that the light is very helpful. I gave the light four stars for brightness only because I probably should have had a bigger light considering that I am working outside with no other lights. I don’t intend this to be a reflection on the light itself because it is plenty of brightness for working in a situation like inside of a building or with a supplemental outside light. I live in a rural area with no outside lights and no inside shop. The quality seems good and I would certainly buy it again if I needed another one.

This lamp was very disappointing. The light output is about the same as a small flashlight. The magnets are weak. It’s just a toy. Keep shopping.

Easy to use and will stick/hook/stand most anywhere. Flashlight function is not that usable but it doesn’t get in the way.

This magnetic flashlight is a big disappointment to me it been 8 hours and the red light hasn't turned green yet when I unplugged it from being charged with USB port it never lit up the lithium battery that's built in it they don't last long so you need to replace it after a few years there's no way to replace rechargeable lithium batteries AA rechargeable battery why would they sell this without no instructions It's beyond me. Also the magnets are very weak doesn't hold a flashlight.

When I went to charge it the green light never came on to tell me that it was fully charged. Tried several times to no avail
