Powerful
This blender is a powerful item and a great addition. The glass jug part is quite heavy but very well made. Solid item blends extremely well.

Disappointing performance
I bought this to replace an ancient but powerful Hamilton Beach blender thats motor finally burnt out after 25:years. I wanted a large glass blender jar and a powerful motor.This machine seems to have the same blade configuration as my old machine, but it does not blend nearly so well and there always seems to be little chunks of banana etc at the bottom of the smoothie. And blending longer is not really an option as the machine manual warns not to run it for more than 2 mins at a time. As I discovered, if it runs more than about 90 secs, the metal blade assembly get SO HOT that it actually burned the food that was being blended.In terms of cleaning, the jar and blade assembly can be separated for cleaning, but the blade & base assembly is one solid piece and a bit fiddly to clean.I wish I had returned it, but I missed the cut off date. I have now been using it for 6 mos and it is making a strange straining sound like the motor is struggling recently, so I've a feeling it is not going to be very durable.Disappointing.UPDATE- Just when I thought this blender could not be worse, it now LEAKS. What a piece of rubbish.

Worked very well, quite sturdy - Now faulty
got it a few weeks ago and it works very well to blend tomatoes, pepper and other soup ingredients.It's now faulty, was using it and started to notice sparks from underneath and smell of electric burns. Left it for days and tried again and it's same. Can't find a way to get warranty support

The media could not be loaded. I’ve been ordered one but it doesn’t work ?

Does what it says. The only slight thing that might be considered a minus is that the bottom of the jug can be difficult to unscrew.
