Work as intended!
These mouse traps works really well! We have a seasonal campground and use these to keep the mice out of our buildings. I load them with chunks of Snickers bars or 3 Musketeers because apparently mice love those. These traps are easy to setup and easy to empty. I hate touching anything so I wear gloves and empty them right into the woods along our property. I donāt have to worry about animals eating the mice because they arenāt poisoned. Another win!

This is the best mouse trap ever!!
This mouse trap is easy to bait and set. Clean up of the dead mouse is quick and easy.

Works great but you need a variety
Mice seem to get used to various types of traps. I use a mix of these jawz traps, the cat traps, and the old style wood/wire spring traps. My farm buildings and house will get mice, so I have traps set all over, including in vehicles. Rotating trap type seems to work better than always using the same type. These traps are selling at a fairly low price, and pretty much last forever. Easy to bait and set, and easy to drop out the dead mice after a catch. The tall lever means you don't have to touch the mice to get them out of the trap if you are averse to that.

Excellent!!
If you're using a traditional wood/wire clap trap, you will completely appreciate the increase quality, performance, design, and functionality of these traps. With wood/wire traps (the cheapos' from the Depot) the mice can sometimes nibble at the bait without setting off the trap. With the Jawz design the mouse actually steps on the lever before he can even touch the food. Brilliant design. For those who think these traps don't work, you're probably using the wrong bait. Mice can be very fussy about what they choose to eat especially if there are other food sources in the area. Sugar items seem to work the best (as they would for humans...) so give that a try if you're not having any luck. Syrup for example can be poured into the centre bait reservoir and painted on the lever platform a bit. Also, they're an absolute breeze to set, clean, and reuse. They should definitely outlast the wood/wire trap if your location is prone to rain and the elements since they are all plastic. You get what you pay for here for sure. My Amazon price was actually pretty good compared to other vendors.Don't think I'll be going back to wood/wire traps.

Didn't work like similarly designed traps
At least a few years ago a bought a couple 2-packs of black plastic mouse traps with teeth in the clamps, very similar to these. The original ones I bought were the Predator line from Wilson, from some big box store. They worked great, and I bought this 6-pack of Jawz because they were cheaper per trap, and looked almost exactly the same. When setting them I noticed nothing different from the other brand I was used to, but obviously the mice did. I always have 2 or 3 traps set in the corner of my detached garage (originally just 1 trap before buying these). It didn't take too long after setting up 2 of these Jawz traps to realize they did not work like the others. I had 2 Jawz traps and 1 Predator trap set up with 5 feet of each other, all with the same peanut butter bait. I checked them every 4-6 days, and other than the first 1 or 2 checks, the Jawz traps were not tripped but had their bait taken. I swapped the locations of the traps to be sure and had the same results. The Jawz traps only caught mice once or twice at first, then they only had the bait taken without catching anything. I replaced the bait on these traps almost a dozen times, along with the Predator trap that was catching a mouse every time, and every 4-6 days I went to check on all 3, the 2 Jawz were un-tripped and now without bait, and the Predator always had a mouse. There's obviously something different with the mechanism in these traps. They look almost identical to the Predator traps, but mice (at least at my place) can easily defeat them. I didn't thoroughly clean them after every reset, but I have never done that with the other plastic traps either, but maybe the Jawz traps have a stickier mechanism. If that's the case I'll gladly pay a couple extra dollars and just quickly re-bait and reset a trap that caught a mouse without scrubbing it clean (this is in garage not my house). I hoped to save a few bucks by buying this 6-pack, but I'll now stick to what has worked for me in the past.
