HOSA has become my go to cable.
I have been a musician for many years and yes, I have purchased brands of varying build quality and price point over the years. Several years ago I discovered HOSA to be a great brand. These XLR cables are high quality and at an affordable price. Yes there are more expensive and even higher quality. But these are really the best bang for the buck in my opinion.

I had a fault one---High pitch noise
So I bought a hosa-hxx 10 feet long, and I used it on my Neat King Bee microphone and M-Audio interface and I was getting a high pitch noise.
