This stuff is fantastic. You can really taste the difference. The granules are sea salt size which work great for seasoning. I'm getting a grinder to make them a touch smaller.The added benefit of minerals is great!

I was expecting it to be a finer grind for salting the rim of a drink like a bar would use. I’ll have to put it through a spice grinder for the texture I want. It’s great for food though!

We have been using Himalayan pink salt for a while now and I honestly don't think I could ever go back to standard, iodized table salt. You would think that all salts are created equal but they aren't! There is something about the exact amounts you use to get the perfect flavor, the look of the slightly larger grains and perfectly pink color. Then, of course, the flavor! I feel like Himalayan salt works with your food a little smoother. It enhances your dish. Instead of simply "adding salt" you add flavor. Then of course, the health benefits are great too! My husband adds the tiniest little pinch to his drinking water, for his health, he says. This salt would go great in a salt shaker because it is finely ground but we prefer to keep it in a little dish. We can grab a pinch while cooking or add it directly to our food after it is served. I have use pink salt for many years and always enjoyed it's flavor. This salt is no exception. It has the typical salty and almost sweet to it that I have love using. We use it for everything from a table salt to cooking and love the results. Premium as described. And yes all salts do taste different. This salt taste kind of sweet with a tangy taste. 1lb of salt should last a while. I do use with watermelon and it taste delicious. I like the black salt better but this salt is used for sweet things. I purchased this product using a promotional code to receive item at a discounted price.
