Oh man, I was worried, having been burned in the past by cheap low-cost products, but not this time. I gambled and WON!The first area I seen on this product was the weld joining the mounting uprights to the tubing on the rack. Wow, these are actually great welds with proper penetration. So far I'm impressed.Next, I had read a review mentioning the poor quality of the docking locks, and the reviewer stated he had to spend an additional amount at a Motor Co. dealership to get a quality latch. I'm not sure he and i received the same product. The docking locks that came installed on mine, are Machined and Anodized Billet Aluminum. (you can see the machining marks thru the anodizing) The locks are smooth and operate perfectly, they fit the dock like they are supposed to, The quick release pins on the lock are aluminum as well, and operate in and out smoothly to make installation and removal easy.So far this product is a top tier product at a reduced price. Now comes the one and only downer I can find. The finish is nearly perfect, with a few minor exceptions (see up-close photo for reference) Overall the poor quality finish is a minor issue in my opinion. Now don't get discouraged, you could take this item to a sandblaster, get it sandblasted and then powder-coated all for far less than the cost of the Motor Co. product. (you could even get it color matched to your ride)Overall, my initial inspection and thoughts are do not be afraid to purchase this product, this is a high-quality product at a rock bottom price. I would gladly purchase this again.Also to those asking if the finish is matte or gloss, its semi gloss.

Fits like it should. Great clearance too from where is sits above ur fender. It looks great too Not a big guy on having a luggage rack on bikes but I would not mind leaving this one on,Purchased for a 6 Hour Rd. trip was thinking about buying a tour pack but I opted for this option instead since it’s only my self and my wife we pack very little and an extra duffel bag on top of that rack will go great. All in all you cannot go wrong with this purchase it was delivered super quick as well.

Just unboxed the rack and it all looks to be in good shape. Went to install and the mounting points didn't line up. They were too narrow so I laid the rack down on some carpet with the brackets facing up and just used a little force to bend them out. Took a couple of trys to get it perfect. Once everything thing was lined up it went on pretty easy. The back clips took a little pressure to sit down evenly but it doesn't feel like it's going anywhere. I'd say it's worth it vs paying 210 from Harley for the same looking rack. Might upgrade the clips in the future.

2021 Harley-Davidson Street Glide SpecialJust received this today so for now all i can say is that the quality looks top notch. Fitment was spot on! Nice and snug! I'll test the durability in Sept when I ride out to the SmokeOut Rally in NC from TN. For the price I'm already Happy with it.

For the first time, I feel compelled to write a review. Fit and finish are great. Easy on, easy off. No adjustments were necessary.I purchased the rack specifically to accommodate a Yeti cooler on my 2020 Road Glide Special. An upcoming trip to Sturgis to obtain some Legends front and rear suspension will be a good break-in trip.I would recommend pulling the trigger on this one.

Seller states this rack fits touring models including answering another customers question specifically for a 2018 RGS. I have this exact bike and it does not come close to fitting correctly. I would have to grind out the rear mount section to make clearance so it could loop over the dock. It didn’t even line up square. You could see the difference clear s day from the left and right side. And this isn’t my first rack on this docking hardware. Arrived today and returning tomorrow. Thought this would be great to save some money for the first time and seek out buying a motorcycle part from Amazon. Jokes on me. Do not recommend.

need to return it because it does not fit and have not heard back from the company as to how to do that
