Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Recently getting more attuned with yoga and nature, so I've been interested in activities like bird watching.After some initial research, I was looking for something with ED glass - because I'm not always out in the brightest part of the day - but they are kind of pricy. I googled comparable brands and found Snypex[...] They are a relatively new brand and they won the best birding binoculars for 2015.As I only saw a few reviews on here, I decided to see where they were located and I looked them up and was shocked to see how close they had a store to me. So I also popped in and the products feel high end. I got to meet the owner, who was really knowledgeable about the product options and ultimately confirmed what I was looking for. The coolest part to me is this thing called the x-wing universal adapter so I can connect my phone to the binoculars to take pictures and videos, which means I don't have to purchase a camera :-)After some deliberation, I eventually purchased my items here for convenience and I'm highly satisfied with the product and packing.Check out what I was able to capture in this emerging Spring. The first picture is of a swan with just my phone, the second and third are with my binoculars and the x-wing adapter that attaches to my phone. Also, took a short video because I don't have a lot of space left on my phone.

From the product description this seemed like the perfect way to photograph wildlife, planets, or scenery using an iPhone together with my Canon 18x50 binoculars. In reality the attachment instructions are vague, the adjustments are extremely finicky, and I was unable to use the adapter. Extremely disappointed.

EXCELLENT UNIVERSAL SMART PHONE ADAPTER (SNYPEX X-WING)I absolutely love this x-wing smart phone adapter gadget. I decided to give this a try since SNYPEX indicate that this adapter fit all kind of smart phones. I use the IPhone 6 plus and the beauty is that I did not have to remove the case and it did also fit my friend’s Galaxy S6.I don't generally read instructions, but in this instance it would have saved quite a bit of time if I did. The device is very simple to use, once you know how to use it. I am using it on my new SNYPEX Binocular that I just purchased along with this adapter.It is simple, it is easy to use, and I no longer need to try to position my phone next to my binoculars in order to get a good photo.

A little hard to use on larger hand held Binoculars, works fine on smaller ones and my Monocular .

Awesome add on to any spotting scope.
