Sober contemplation and necessary read for all Evangelicals.
Hell is no longer in vogue even within the church. We are fascinated with all the Bible reveals about the love of God but the Bible is fascinated with the Holiness of God.Instead of exalting God with a salutation of “Love, Love, Love.” We find the Angel proclaiming, “Holy, Holy, Holy.”If He’ll is not real then God cannot be Holy since He knew sin would enter His creation and God refused to create a world where He could not display all of His attributes.

A solid discussion on a topic more and more pastors are shying away from
I really enjoyed learning the different viewpoints of Hell within the Christian world. And I definitely learned more about the biblical and gospel centered importance of Hell.

A subject worth looking at...
This book gives much help in defending the reality and biblical teachings about Hell. If we begin to toss out any doctrine we disapprove of, then the Word of God becomes just a book of opinions, at best. It's a great help in the defense of truth.

Is Heaven For Real or Does Everyone Go To Heaven?
HELL is FOR REAL....at least as far as I am concerned. However, I don't feel that God made Hell unless He was planning the mass murder of half of the souls He created 'before' the creation....I am referring to the Bible where it says that he created the 'sheep and the goats' before the creation, and that He will separate the sheep from the goats in the end times. I am convinced that Hell is the creation of the thoughts of humanity. But, this conversation could lead into a theme even more complex in the human being.....the power of his mind to create reality. And if you don't believe that the mind IS POWERFUL, then you don't believe in the power of prayer. I think one could find many supporters of this theorem...I included. I am a cancer survivor....barely ...and it was done with much prayer by hundreds of people, and a very caring oncologist. As for the book itself, it is entertaining reading, but not very convincing. It is definitely a Universalists conception (eg., all people are eventually saved by God)....a nice thought, but difficult for people with consciences. But when you read Isaiah 45:Verse 7 (I form the light and craete darkness: I make peace, and create evil. I the Lord do all these things) and Verse 18 (For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens: God himself, that formed the earth and it it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain; he formed it to be inhabited). Sounds to me like God thought it all out before He went to work. '
