The Intercessors Handbook: How to Pray with Boldness, Authority and Supernatural Power

I really loved this book. She really tells how the gift of discernment feels if you have it. She is the only person that I have heard speak tells how this gift effects the person that has it. I am a Sunday School Teacher for senior ladies for almost eight years and I was teaching them this concept before I had heard anyone else talk about it. The world and scientists call this gift being an Empath. You literally taken on the emotions and the physical pain of the person, animal or the object or room. I have had this gift since I was I was a child and it was very difficult for me to go into groups of people or be around ill people. I know personally what it feels like to pick the spiritual world around myself. We are meant to be the intercessors at prayer for these people. It took me years to realize that it wasn't my pain or emotions and then the Holy Spirit taught me how to control it as I began to mature. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia because the doctors could not find the source of my pain but it wasn't the case I was just picking up other people pain around me. Usually when I prayed for the people then my pain usually stops. Sometimes this gift makes you think you are going crazy until the Holy Spirit let you know what is going on or you read a book like this.Some people see and hear into the spiritual world of demons and angels. I only hear, feel and take on the emotions and sometimes the pain. Usually people with this gift notice things around them that other people aren't aware of, we tend to be super sensitive to sounds, emotions, pain, we like being along. I have a hard time watching the news andmovies that are scary and violent and I would rather be with a few people than a crowd of people. Scientists are saying that around 4% of the people in the world have this gift and many are misdiagnosed for being mentally ill, having fibromyalgia, or being unsocial but they have a special gift that God has gift them to help the world heal. If you have a super sensitive child you really need to read this because your child may have it. Scientists are saying that they are more people being born with it and some people receive it after they accept Christ as their Savior.

She makes the conversation my sister and I have more relevant. We were flowing through the Holy Spirit when we speak on the phone. But she brought to light our ignorance and made it more mindful and wise about what we were saying. I am glad I purchase the book. I can't put it down. I just keep sharing insightful parts with my family and peers. I bought three more for my sister's. Thanks

Really good book. Again, I am a bit iffy about a focus on angels. Also her comments about demonic attack of hairfall in the Middle East was just a common occurrence to people moving there. Happened to us and everyone else I know who moved there and stopped after 6 months when we adjusted to the climate. Also Muslims don't have a powerful prayer culture. Jesus said repetitive prayers don't get through. Most don't even understand what they pray as it is in classical Arabic. Good book but some statements that are questionable.

This book was written so simply and full of guidance by the Holy Spirit to help us understand the spiritual world and establish a lifestyle of prayer so GODs will - will be done in earth as it is in heaven! Prayer truly works, gives us power and changes situations!!!
