Useful, made well and the pouch for storage is nice.
I actually bought this for my other half who does like to cook, but has a tendency to try to had his finger tips to our dishes lol. He has proven himself incapable of being trusted with a food slicing mandolin. This will at least keep his fingers out of the way I hope. I've used it and appreciate that I don't have to dig my hands into onions etc keeping the smell off of me, and hope that it will also aide me in cutting other foods as well. It appears to be made well and I like the pouch it comes with to keep it from poking me or other things when in storage. Recommend.

Best Little Helper!
I LOVE the fact it has a "prong protector" as well as it's own case. It's easy to use & clean. Concise slices, travels well. I just got it two days ago. Fajitas are a breeze. Five people have decided to order one for themselves as well as gifts. I'm hiding mine (easy to do during quarantine). My live-in is RAVING about it. Thanks! Great for camping and vacations. Great buy, helps eliminate tears (if you have that problem). I personally haven't had much chance to use it, apparently it's FUN, lol. Will probably purchase a few more, as stated, hand/dandy kitchen aid!

Careful! It’s sharp.
LikeThe size and dislike the size at the same time. Not wide enough for an extra large onion but it stores nicely and works well on cutting equal or slightly larger sized objects.I do like the sturdy tines although they are a bit harder to push into a solid density without working at it.

Quality Product
I received it today at noon & by 2:00 PM used it to slice a large Onion and a Yam. Worked admirably. Really holds the item you are slicing and keeps your fingers and hands well away from the knife edge. Varied the thickness of the slices by slicing at every tine or every other tine. Feels very substantial when in use, tines are very heavy & did not bend. Easy to clean and fits the storage pouch very snugly so it won't slip out. Would highly recommend this kitchen tool.

Works fair.
This is a well made. It works fair. The tynes are not really strong enough to hold their shape when you stick it in an onion. They move as you stick it in so that you can not get even slices. Even still it is better than trying to hold an onion with your hands and cut even slices.

my GO TO prep tool.
here is the story. my wife came home from our sons house raving about this kitchen tool the kids got at a housewares party.I used the description of the item to search amazon and after checking out what was available I bought this one.not the cheapest, but a well made sturdy, stainless steel tool. first I cut a 10lb pork loin into uniform chops and a 3 lb roast.Used this to slice the cooked roast and the next night my wife used it to cut a corned beef into perfectly uniform slices.I thought I was just saying "YES DEAR" when I ordered it , but since I do most of the cooking these days.this puppy is going to be my GO TO prep tool.

This thing is awesome.
Trying to catch up on my reviews so a lot have been short and sweet. BUT this one will be longer. I love this thing. I use it to slice onions [what it is advertised to do] and don’t get that onion smell all over me, and get beautiful little slices. I also dice onions with it by slicing one way, then turning and slicing another, or tomatoes, or ANYTHING. I slice thin or thick depending on where I place the knife. Use for thin or thick mushrooms, radishes, etc. and the slices are easy and perfect and I don’t worry about my fingers since I am not a gourmet slicer. I keep finding uses for it. Use it to slicer pieces of meat and cheese. Use it to puncture meat as a tenderizer. Can you tell I love it? Well made and easy to hold. Easy to clean. Just don’t forget it’s in your drawer and find your own uses. Please use a sharp knife!!! And you will be happy.

Works Great with Tomatoes Too
Wonderful product. So much utility built into into something with such a small price tag. I just tried it on a soft tomatoes, and boy does it do a great job. Easy to slice as evenly thin as the knife blade allows. Getting uniform cuts, especially thin cuts, is virtually impossible without a tool like this. And as I mentioned, varying the thickness of the cuts is a major feature of this item. The bag is a nice safety touch given the needles are quite sharp. Boy, was this just a few bucks well spent.
