Bright Stars: Great Artists Who Died Too Young

I love this book so much! So many interesting stories about artists who left us too young, leaving behind an incredible legacy of their work for us to enjoy. So well researched and beautiful heartfelt moments written with great sensitivity. I've discovered some fantastic artists that I'd not heard of before.

I love all historical books of artists but I got this book as I also liked the idea of looking at lesser known artists work and backgrounds too. This book delivers that history and gives just enough knowledge to make you want to go and discover more about the artist that interests you and ultimately, I hope, give them more credit for their work than they might not otherwise have got. I found it to be a great read and I would highly recommend it.
