Classy Wood 4-Across
We have this game out on our table all the time, and it looks like a plain "decorative" wooden box, but it is a fast game at the ready. Essentially this is 4-across with wooden balls, with a handy plank to pull out at the bottom to deposit the balls in the box when the game is over. Solidly made. We have had no issues with distinguishing the colors of the balls as reviewers had previously noted, though the balls are small and not good for little ones or individuals with sight challenges. Works great for our family. Only wish there was a latch to lock the box closed so it was more readily mobile. We put a rubber band around it and packed it for vacation, with no issues. Worth it.

fun, simple game
This game is so fun and simple, it is great for all ages, and this wood version is well-made and appears fairly historically accurate. We use this in our living history re-enactments and demonstrations. It is quite popular with our younger spectators, and makes our demonstration very hands-on. The best thing for me is how compact it is and easy to travel with.
