Actual product is different from the product description. Still fine...
I received this order on 22 May 2022. According to the product description , the ICs , which were delivered , were supposed to be ATmega328P but what I got is the non Pico-Power model which is ATmega328. So i would like to cut 1 star off the rating because of this delivery of different model than descripted. Otherwise the ICs , after bootloading, are working fine although the bootloading process was not a cakewalk. These ICs don't have Uno bootloader pre-installed you have to do it yourself which means this IC can not be directly plugged and used with Arduino.Only read further if u have got the non pico power version....if you get the Non-Pico-Power model (ATmega328) like me then it becomes a bit tricky to burn the Arduino ATmega328P bootloader into the ATmega328 IC.Here is what you have to do:We have to change the signature of avrdudecompiler according to the IC model signature1. Go to "Arduino\hardware\tools\avr\etc" in File Explorer2. You will be able to find a file named "avrdude.conf" in that directory mentioned above3. Edit the "avrdude.conf" file using nodepad or any other text editor and go to line number 87974. Change the signature into "0x1e 0x95 0x14" for ATmega328 and "0x1e 0x95 0x20" for ATmega328P5. Save the .conf file by providing administrative permission6. Close and relaunch the Arduino IDE and simply burn bootloader into the ICThese steps above should work
