At first I was very pleased with my purchase, the design helped hold the phone really well. How ever after about 2 months of usage, today I found my phone at a weird angle on the holder. After inspection I realized the plastic clip had snapped internally and the holder is no longer able to stay on the air vent. The only reason this didn't get one star was because I really liked the design. However, a good design is useless if the material won't hold up.Verdict: $9 (now $10) for 2 months of usage is not worth the money.

Very disappointed. I have a 2014 Toyota Sienna and this does not stay clamped on. When I make a sharp curve, it immediately falls off. When I look at the 2 pieces that meet to clamp now, I see they will not even close all the way when not attached tot he vent so I know the problem will just get worse. The reviews were impressive but for me this was a huge wast of money and still I have not solution. Would not recommend for the make/year/model of our van, at least.

This makes the mount very handy for using navigation on your phone. The spring inside the mount is strong enough to hold my phone securely, even on bumpy roads. the swivel assembly on it locks solidly when the nut is tightened, ensuring that the phone doesn't move unless you want it to. This mount even accommodated my oversized otterbox with no problem at all. It's lightweight and solidly built. It arrived in nice printed packaging that was easy to open, and secure at the same time. the 360 degree rotation feature makes this mount handy to switch from portrait to landscape mode while still being attached to your vent, that aids in not dropping the phone while traveling. Another nice feature of this mount is the fact that mounting the phone on a vent really helps keep the phone cool in hot months.

Works great for the most part. It will pop off of the vent every once in a while.

Over time, the clamp that held the entire unit to the vent lost it's effectiveness. It's just not a tight enough hold, looks like it got warped (see photo). I used it with an LG G5 in a pretty thick case so it ended up being really heavy. It held up the phone just fine but the entire unit would slip off the vent more often than not.

V clamp that attaches to vent went from closed v to open v. Thus, doesn't hold to vent making it useless to hold a phone after a single 15 minute ride to work. Waste of money. Too much of a waste of time returning. I'll trash it.

This fits my Nexus 5x perfectly with a little room to spare for a larger phone if necessary. Holds tightly to my dash vent and I can angle it in various directions and tighten it down so it stays there. It's compact yet stands a little bit away from the vent to allow air to still circulate.
