This is one of my favorite card effects, and the DVD included is great.The beauty of MacDonald's Aces, however, is the flexibility in which it can be presented. While Gerry's presentation is great, I would suggest exploring other presentations as well, such as Michael Ammar's, which is relatively direct and easy to follow, while still being extremely magical. If you would like a more elaborate presentation then "Dream of Aces" would be a great option to explore.Or, of course, you could also combine different presentations and create one of your own, as well as create one from scratch (which would in and of itself probably be impossible, since you would eventually end up using principals that are already used by other magicians, even though you may discover them independently). Try to impart some of your own personality into your presentation. It's all up to your imagination.Not to mention, the price of this package is a great compared to other variations from other manufactures. They are all the same anyways.Peace be with you,- Jacob

This product is worth every penny. Personally, it has allowed me to perform one of my favorite card tricks of all time - McDonald's Aces. It came professionally packaged and in the highest possible quality.

Great trick. Wish the dvd had more variations of the trick but there are a lot on-line.

This is a fantastic effect with only 9 special cards which are included with the DVD. At first I had trouble doing this because it requires a slight called the "Hammond Count". It was shown clearly but not fully explained. So I went to the internet and found some video tutorials which explained and helped me learn to do it correctly. This trick requires practice but it's definitely worth learning. The effect is that you will seem to make eight 9s vanish and turn into 8 queens. An absolutely amazing effect if you practice and do it right. There are variations and other effects on the DVD which supplement the classic effect. Overall Gerry Griffin is a great teacher of card trick magic. If you're willing to invest the time and effort this is truly a professional trick.
