Easy installation, great aesthetics
Super easy installation, mounts to the stock backplate of am4 socket. Looks amazing and the rgb effect of the cpu block seamlessly transitions between colors. Works perfectly and keeps my ryzen 5800x at around 45° C idling and above 80 under gaming load, but the temps reach 90° C limit while testing with cinebench, but thats just the nature of the 5800x. The fans are pretty quite under gaming load but you have to choose silent profile in your mobo software (msi dragon center in my case).

Regret buying this junk. Ruined a brand new system in less than a year.
Built this computer last year in March. Today 2/25, the computer showed a BSOD and won't turn on again. Disassembled the computer and found that the connection at the radiator broke and leaked fluid onto the mother and cpu. I immediately dried everything up and spent hours trying to revive the computer but no luck. The cpu seems to be fried and motherboard doesn't seem to want to power up even with no cpu (should at least beep when no cpu is detected). So in all I just lost close to $500 in new computer parts, hours of lost time cleaning this mess up and another $500 to buy everything again. Let say $1,500 in expected loss.

Does Aestetics doe
Firstly, i have been waiting MONTHS for this. When their Castle RGB series was announced, i searched high and low for reviews and then where to buy, which ended up being nowhere. I contemplated spending $100 to have it shipped from the UK. Thankfully I gave up and settled for my old AIO, because exactly 1 month later, scrolling through amazon, I see THIS. No reviews yet? Considering it wasn't available a month ago, it has to be new. No videos on youtube (yet). After further research, this is being dubbed "Version 2" of the castle series, with a few noticable aestetics such as the additional ring around the pump and the ability to change, edit and rotate the inner emblem/design. It comes with a glass one (deepcool mentioned somewhere you can add your own emblem, which i opted not to design) so now its a black hole in the middle (looks like NZXT kraken but way more light). I am very happy with this and very happy with Deepcool. Just when i lost faith, they brought me back.Only cautionable thing is, the fans are NOT RGB. They may release the variant with RGB fans, but take note that these are NOT RGB fans.Couldnt find any notes anywhere on tube length so i believe its roughly around 13 inches in case you need to know for your build.I have been using this for 4 hours straight and i have good temps under gaming and under idle, which should be expected from the 360 rad variant. Currently they also have a 240 variant if youre looking for that on amazon. I will update either in a few days or weeks depending on my usage. But again, super happy and releived that they finally released this in the U.S.Its not the original one shown at CES, but it is still cooler and better.

Good pricing for a 360mm rad. Some marginal build quality.
This is my first Deepcool product, and the jury is out on if there will be a second. I'm running an AMD 3700x on an Asus ROG Hero motherboard in a Lian Li 011 Dynamic case. With that being said; let's get started.Pros:The pricing for this is very competitive, and the feature set seemed appealing to me. With this cooler being a 360mm radiator for about $20-$30 more than many 240mm and 280mm radiators; it seemed like a solid price to performance deal. The mounting brackets are detachable (screwed into) from the pump unit itself which should ideally make modding/painting them easier than many other competitors. I also appreciated the fact that I was able to use the existing cpu back plate to screw this cooler into for my AM4 socket cpu. The fans also seem to pull a decent amount of air while not being the noisiest in my case (a stock GPU cooler will be notably louder). The coolant lines are long while being flexible enough that they should be suitable for any mid or full ATX case. I also appreciate that this pump can be oriented in 4 difference positions depending on setup needs.Cons:After less than a month of ownership half of the LED's on the pump have begun to fail (they all worked for the first couple of weeks). They flash random colors, regardless of what I set them to (via Asus software, or completely independent of the motherboard using the provided in-line sata power connector and controller. Same results). My work around is to merely turn them off, which is a bummer considering this is a selling feature of this pump. The next biggest con for me is the overall temps. In my previous system I used a Corsair H100i, and I loved it. It kept my cpu under an average load in the mid to upper 30's C. That was a 240mm rad in an NZXT h440 case which isn't known for it's good airflow. The 011 Dynamic I'm using now should be superior in terms of airflow. However, with the Castle 360ex I'm getting normal use temps around the mid to upper 40 degree C. This could be due to the quality of the pre-applied thermal paste that I'm using, and I might try applying a better quality paste to see if this helps with the temps. I was just expecting better temps overall since the radiator is notably larger than my previous coolers. Not a deal breaker, but I expected better. Lastly; while it might not look like it in the image, the plastic on the LED cover feels cheap. Considering the price point overall it makes sense. I just didn't expect it to feel as flimsy as it does.Overall:While I'm incredibly disappointed that half of the LED's have bugged out on me; I'm not read to denounce this experiencing just yet. The pump itself works, and it (as well as the fans) is not very noisy. There are a lot of variables I can account for that factor into the CPU temps. I just came in with higher expectations due to previous experiences using some of Deepcool's competition which worked flawlessly for me out of the box. I've reached out to Deepcool's technical support regarding the pump LED situation, and I'll update this review pending how that experience goes.

Absolutely perfect. I love DeepCool.
I like to make reviews simple by telling you the pros and cons of items.Pros:-Easily takes my i5 7600k from 3.8GHz to 5GHz @ <65c. Though my CPU is delidded, my Kraken X62 could not achieve this. So the 360mm radiator is a major improvement over the 280mm kraken X62.-Dead silent. Like, maybe uncomfortably silent for anyone who doesn't have a pump speed displayed. I do.-the fans are meant for this. They are silent and push the perfect amount of air through the radiator to keep the liquid cool.-as far as looks go: to each their own. But IMO this is the best looking AIO on the market. the customizable disk in the pump is a cherry on top of the best AIO I've ever owned.-Durability. Will this thing last? Well I've only had it a week and so far it's had no issues. But, I have faith in DeepCool. They have always stood by their products for me in the past. I personally think they have one of the most trusted technical support teams out there. Which is a hell of a lot more than I can say about Asus.-installation was simple, but...Cons:-The instructions were not clear. Not a big secret that DeepCool is a Chinese company and so they rely on pictures for all their instructions. For a first time AIO installer this may make things difficult. But if you have ever put together some Ikea furniture, you'll be alright. If you need help you can surely find an install video on YouTube.

Buy screws if doing push/pull
Love the look on this thing. I honestly think there are better performing AIO'S, but you really can't beat the style on this thing.I didn't use the fans that came with it, I installed rgb fans.Biggest complaint: they only include 12 screws for the fans to the radiator. SO, if you plan on doing push/pull config, you need to buy 12 more screws because the other screws they include are like 1/4 inch and can basically only be used to attach the radiator to the case. I couldn't even attach a fan with those screws using 1 hole of the fan, much less go through both holes.
