The backside of these pieces are not what you see in the photos of the front side.
Looks beautiful when the flatware is sitting in presentation mode on the table next to your dish. The design is very similar to the classic Mikasa Virtuoso Frost flatware. But---except for the knife---I was disappointed as soon as I picked up the pieces: they are "hollow" or concave in shape on the back, not fully rounded. Feels cheap and too light in hand, more like "gourmet cafeteria" quality than trie "gourmet table" quality.I ordered two of these Gourmet Basics, and I will return one for sure. I'll keep the box I opened, but I will use the pieces more for nice picnic and tailgating events than for home table use.IMO, Mikasa and Amazon should update their product description and product photos to more accurately portray the quality/design shortcomings of the Westfield place setting.

Utilitarian and functional.
After a divorce, a man may be left to start over in many areas, furnishing a kitchen/dining area is one of them. Amazon Prime has made this much easier, and the choices are fantastic. Needed a good everyday dining flatware service, and this fills the bill.
