Teknor Apex7533-4 Aquaflex Hook-Up Hose - 1/2" x 4' 10'

Bought this hose for an application where I needed to cut the brass fittings off in order to fit it onto barbed hose connections. This hose has an OUTSIDE diameter of 1/2 inch, not INSIDE which most hoses are measured by. Needless to say, I cut off the end to fit onto my barbed connection, and it of course does not fit and now because I have cut it, I cannot return it obviously. Hoping for some type of refund based on the fact that the description is deceiving.

I wanted a simple hose that didn't leak and wasn't super long or super short and this one fit the bill. I also like that the connector isn't bulky because some hoses have clunky connectors and I needed a hose for a dehumidifier which has a very tight space for the hose connection.

Can't use the hose because it is labeled to not be used for hot water. I intended to use it to drain my water heater and of course I can't use it for that purpose.

Complete junk: developed a huge split within 6 weeks as the hose is "near" paper thin. Shame on me for leaving the faucet on and it leaked for I don't know how long: can't wait for my next water bill :-)

This hose seems to be perfect for the RV. The length is great and it seems to be built sturdy. We will see how long it holds up. But for the money it was a awesome buy. Just going to use for gray water it should hold up just fine. It really does seem to be built sturdy.
