It’s definitely a scrub! Very corse. I was looking for a replacement for my Aveeno daily face scrub that was discontinued. This is a bit too harsh for that but it did work! Maybe once a week or so. It smells like plastic or something when you’re using it. Kind of weird, but it doesn’t stay with you after it washes off. It’s not a strong smell. Probably would work great as a foot scrub.

Smelled nice, and my face felt clean, smooth and soft after I rinsed it off. I used it on my shoulders and upper back as well. Good product!

I needed a good exfoliator for my face to keep dry and dead skin at bay. This product is very coarse which is what I was looking for. Chemical exfoliators do not work very well for me, and since micro-beads have been banned in most places, walnut shells are the best alternative I find for my skin type. Though, oddly, crushed walnut shell exfoliators are hard to find for me. I use this product about two to three times per week, before I use other products like a toner and moisturizer, and my skin stays looking fresh and clean. It is very rough, even on your fingers and hands so I do not recommend using it every day, but everyone's skin is different. With that said, it may not be the right product for you, but if you are looking for a coarse exfoliator, this product is definitely worth trying.

I over all like the product but I wish it was a bit more grainy to remove dead skin cells.

This is exactly the type of high quality exfoliant I have been looking all over for! I've tried different types for my face, and they never work well and often have synthetic ingredients.So, I wanted to try a natural exfoliant, and I came across this Walnut Polish. I liked that it was natural, and the jar looks like it is going to last me a LONG time. So, it is well worth the money.The best part is that it helps my acne a lot. I have very stubburn, cyctic acne that does not stay gone very long. Since I've been using this scrub, I get a nice and natural clean that makes my skin smooth, gets rid of excess oil, and minimizes my pores. This all have improved my acne and complexion.I look forward to trying their face cream and body butter too! I am VERY happy I got this.

This description is misleading in that it contains several ingredients that are neither organic and arguably not "natural", whatever that means. I included a photo of the ingredients to decide for yourself and you can also look up cosmetic ingredient safety at EWG's cosmetic database (no affiliation whatsoever; can't even speak to its credibility). I gave it 2 stars for lack of transparency and misleading info. The ingredients may be relatively harmless but they're not organic nor naturally derived. In particular, I avoid aluminum (magnesium aluminum silicate) which actually checks out on EWG as relatively harmless. Glyceryl Stearate SE is stated by EWG as safe for cosmetics that are washed away but this product is not washed away. Again, nothing identified as carcinogenic or toxic but I wouldn't have bought this knowing of these synthesized ingredients.On a separate note, I think Amazon should require ingredients listed on product descriptions, especially cosmetics.[...]

I'm in love with this exfoliator.Let me say, first, that I use this every day. I cleanse my face with a cleansing oil when my workday is done. Tone, put on 2 pumps of Rosehip Oil and go about my evening.I shower at night and use this, gently, as a mask every single night. Twice a week (on trash days--Tuesday and Friday here) I'll treat this more like an exfoliator and actually scrub a little bit.I've seen noticeable difference in my skin tone and texture. Results were within a couple days, but a month in now and I've had zero breakouts, my complexion is clear, calmed, and my pores are less noticeable.Makeup application is flawless and I haven't had to "extract" my pores since I started using this Walnut Polish.(I have dry, sometimes combination skin.)

This product is absolutely fabulous. I noticed a difference after one use. My skin was beginning to have a dark dull pale look and usually to remedy that I get a AHA peel. However, after reading this product reviews I decided to give it a try and it worked wonders for me. Actually my skin looked better after using this product than when I get the peel and the cost is a lot less. Also, it does not dry out your skin and with this product you can exfoliate your skin all at once. With the peel, you have to wait for the skin to peel and oftentimes you peel for up to a week or more. I use this product it at least once a week and I am more than satisfied. My skin actually glow.
