So negative! Do not buy!
I literally throw this book away because I did not want anyone else to get their hands on it. I love devotionals. I love marriage books. I love self help books. I love all types of books. This book had such a negative perspective on so many things that it was awful reading it every night. My husband and I gave it a few months thinking it might get better, but it just got worse. We ended up buying another daily devotional that we loved. This is just awful!

Good for some, not for me
I have read Tim Keller’s book, “The Meaning of Marriage” and found it extremely helpful especially as I prepared for marriage. I recommend that book to Christians single, married, dating, engaged. This devotional is really just excerpts from that book. This is neat for discussion between spouses, but we expected a more scripture based devotional. This is mainly focused on bits and pieces from their previous book.

Not Great
I've read "The Meaning of Marriage" and expected this devotional to be just as helpful as the book. Unfortunately, it is not. It is sorely lacking in relevant, applicable, truth-filled content. It is basically a collection of random stories and hypothetical scenarios with a Bible verse at the end and a few questions semi-related to that day's writing. Neither my husband, or myself, were encouraged, challenged, or motivated to continue reading after the first month.
