Used this to help charge devices on a jungle trek and while backpacking. It takes awhile to get a battery charged but works well, is rugged and withstood getting completely wet in a deluge rain storm. I like it and will continue to use it on trips. Very happy with my purchase.

I have read all other reviews, i am probably the first review that paid for the product.....I just received the item, and testing the panel out, i am not sure if the sun is unstable or if the sun isnt strong enough or if the panel i received is defective, but the panel is rebooting itself exactly every 10seconds. The Lux meter is showing 11965 lux, and it is only outputting 0.05amps at 4.02v and contining to reboot itself every 10seconds, i plugged it into a power bank and i am seeing itself rebooting every 10seconds, then i plugged it into my s10e it reboots itself every few seconds too and the charge time is 6hours 24mins(currently at 20% charge).I will continue to test the item and update further when i have more info.Update:I have tested the item further as the sun gets more intense. Everything is working great now and charging. 1 thing users should watch out for is, if the Amperage is lower than 0.1? or at where i was at which was 0.06amp, then the panel "probably" believes its an overcast of clouds and reboot itself(feature for IOS). So after the amp has increased passed 0.1amp, then the rebooting stopped.This wasnt written anywhere in the description, but this will probably happen to a lot of people.Other info, lux is not linear to energy output, as the light picks up, energy output increase more than ratio of 1.All in all, the product is well designed, light weight.Rebooting will occur when cloud overcast the panel causing amperage to drop, also the trigger for reboot is probably when amperage is lower than 0.1amp. (Maybe better documentation for that will help other users.)

I used it to charge up my power pack and it worked awesome! As for the phone, it was cloudy out so it didn’t seem to charge as quick but I am going to try it on a clear sunny day to see how that works. Over all, I like it. Slim and durable. Charges well.

I bought 2 of these solar panels, before my friend and I went hiking in Spain - one for each. I tested both extensively at home, and both worked very well. After a few days of hiking, my friend's panel started showing only the red light indicator - the lowest level of charging, and charging stopped working. Mine survived just a couple days longer.When I got back from my hike, the window of return closed, so now I'm stuck with 2 worthless boards, minus 50 dollars.

Great for charging external batteries but not for directly charging phones or tablets.

5 Watts sur le papier, c'est souvent décevant dans la réalité, mais 5 Watts effectifs, c'est suffisant pour mes besoins. Ce petit chargeur solaire (en un seul panneau, moins compact au transport que s'il était pliant, mais plus facile à mettre en œuvre) tient ses promesses ! Je voulais un chargeur efficace et abordable, pas spécialement puissant mais capable de recharger en parallèle 4 piles AA 1.5V au lithium, et celui-ci fait très bien l'affaire. Un gros plus: l'indicateur de charge (diode tricolore) qui permet de trouver facilement la meilleure orientation (lumière bleue) pour optimiser la charge. Je l'ai testé dès réception, depuis ma fenêtre, et j'en suis satisfait.

Ho testato più volte questo pannello sia in giardino che attaccato allo zaino durante lunghe camminate e devo dire che non mi ha mai deluso. Ponendolo con la giusta angolazione in modo da massimizzare la carica (indicata dalla luce led blu) si riesce a caricare in poche ore un telefono. Io personalmente ho sempre preferito caricare una powerbank per non rischiare di rovinare la batteria del telefono ma non ha mai dato problemi. In estate riesce tranquillamente a caricare una medio-grossa powerbank in giornata con la quale potete poi caricare i vostri dispositivi durante la sera.

I was skeptic when ordering. It really small and light and works as advertised. So, this one goes in my bug out bag for sure! Amazing charging power in relation to size.
