Soft and brittle material
Drop it from a couple foot tall coffee table and watch it shatter. The material isn't stone; it appears to be some sort of brittle fabricated material, possibly gypsum (drywall). Fairly soft and scratchable with a fingernail, yet brittle enough to break with no effort. The corkboard will prevent the entire coaster from falling apart if it breaks, at least. The imagery is okay - mostly embellished images with some basis in real data and planetary geography. Except Uranus. Some numpty replaced Uranus' drab, almost featureless gaseous clouds with Pluto imagery from New Horizons. Amusing, if not entirely accurate!

Great looking , nice quality , but the error will keep it down a star
Love the printing , quality is good ,but being a family who loves outer space the error is not forgivable. Uranus is printed on a picture of Pluto & there is no actual Uranus to be found . I found like that my 7 year old tells everyone that uses them that you messed up & miss printed ....all you had to do be smarter than 1st grader guys

They are nice but incorrect
Pluto is pictured instead of Uranus, as an astronomer that really bothers me, I'll keep them because they were cheap but I suggest others look elsewhere for better planet coasters

Coasters are just ok
We really liked the planets on the coasters and that was one of the reasons we purchased. They are not very absorbent and take a while to absorb liquid on the coaster. As a result, the coasters sometime stick to our cups/glasses as we picked them up, and that resulted in a few coasters falling and cracking or chipping. Not really impressed with these coasters.

Bought them for my sail boat, they look great and are very functional. They protect my teak table tops.

High Quality, Vibrant Colors!
Very beautiful and high quality. Colors are vibrant. Packaged well. Got for use at home but would make a great hostess gift too. Very pleased and highly recommend!
