FC1 MKII Large-Diaphragm Condenser Microphone

I got this mic because the company claims it delivers a vintage sound at an affordable price and it did not disappoint. I've used this microphone for male and female vocals and it is very crisp and detailed. The transformer gives it warmth which can be heard with lower frequencies like deep vocals. Overall I haven't had any issues with it and leaves clients satisfied with the vocals. The only downside in my opinion is the size, its a bit slimmer and smaller but shouldn't be a big issue. Great addition to my home studio.

This mic stopped working after a month. Always stored in its box in a mic locker. Used it for one recording and it worked, got it out and mounted it and it broke mid way through recording vocals.

Loved this microphone and the quality of recording, but it has failed after a little over one (1) year of light useage.

Purchased this as Amazon Renewed at a slightly reduced price. When I got it the internal capsule mount was snapped off. Not sure of the back story, but this capsule mount is very fragile by design. A little TLC and super glue with a Q-Tip carefully measured to place into the hollow capsule mount itself for bracing did the trick. Seems fine now. I did not return because I don't mind repairing a bargain.
