Q: Has anyone been able to find silicone mouth tips for the 12mm straws? I want to use them for frozen smoothies but don't want to freeze my lips!

To be honest, I haven't looked, just didn't like the Metallic Taste after a week or 2. I quit using them.

Q: Can I just wash these in the dishwasher without using the brush afterwards or do particles stay stuck in them if I don't?

You should plan to rinse them immediately after use, or use the brush to clean them. Probably both. Unless your dishwasher is commercial grade, it ptobably wont get every speck.

Q: Do these work with the Tervis 16oz cups?

No, they are too large too fit. They are great for super thick shakes.
