Very interesting book.
Bought as a present for a very good Irish friend. I am sure he will be delighted with it.

A wasted opportunity.
I have many thousands of books, magazines and pamphlets on the railways of Ireland, and this must rank as about one of the worst that I have in my collection. I know it is mainly about Bradshaw and his guide, that bit may be OK, but I haven't got the courage to read it, based on the quality of the captions for the photographs and illustrations. I wonder how much real work was put into this book, it smacks of we have to "do" Ireland to complete the Bradshaw set, so lets just bash it out, no-one will notice... well I have !There are many very, very obvious spelling mistakes, and factual errors, buyer beware.
