A flavorful, satisfying hot drink
This herbal tea is really good. Sweet and Spicy describes it perfectly. No sweetener needed, and it's spicy enough to be very satisfying. I just nuke it in a cup of water for a minute and a half, and then let it set for at least four minutes. I like to keep some in my purse in case I run into a cup and hot water. (I'm not joking -- there are places that have cups and those water coolers that also provide super hot water, and I take full advantage of that opportunity.) I also like that it has no caffeine; I can drink as much as I want without feeling hyper. I drink it before bed and it's just enough to help me get away from the stresses of the day.

Good Earth bought by Tetley Tea, that's when they changed the formula to these new ones, but new ones are good too.
I liked the original Good Earth tea very much (3rd photo). This one is NOT exactly the same. Ingredients of original: red rooilos, chicory root, artificial flavor, rosehips, cinnamon, peppermint, lemongrass, papaya, chamomile, panax ginseng leaves, anise seed, ginger root, dandelion root, orange peel, and orange oil. This new orange "organic" version contains: roobios, organic cinnamon, organic chicory root, natural flavor, organic rosehip, organic lemongrass, organic peppermint, organic chamomile, organic cassia oil, organic ginger root, organic orange oil, organic honeybush, and organic orange peel. These ingredients were in the original and are not in the new one: papaya, panax ginseng leaves, anise seed, and dandelion root. Also old one had artificial flavor listed and new one has natural flavor listed.Good Earth Teas, Inc. started in Santa Cruz, CA in 1972, was acquired by Tetley in 2005 (of Tetley Tea fame) and is now located in Montvale, NJ. From Wikipedia: Good Earth was acquired by Tetley US Holdings Limited in October 2005, and is a subsidiary of Tata Global Beverages. In January 2011, Tata Global Beverages shut down production of Good Earth in Santa Cruz, putting 47 people out of work, and moved the operations to New Jersey. So that's when the original flavor from Santa Cruz was changed to the new blends. Maybe it had to do with cutting costs, or just remarketing an old product. That being said, I like both of the new ones too. They aren't quite as good as the original but darn close. And since the original is no longer around, these are all that we have. I'll take it. The non-organic caffeine free one in the burgundy box is good too (1st photo). Has less orange flavor than this one (2nd photo).

Love the taste
Naturally sweet, smells great, relaxing. However there's too much caffeine for me so, I'm trying the decaffeinated version.
