Awesome!!
I have multiple grips that I utilize for doing pull ups on a regular basis. I own a set of 2 inch pistons that I have gotten very comfortable with, so I figured that I would give the Power Pistons a shot. Wow..I am humbled to say the least. These things are huge and at this point I can only manage 2 bodyweight pull ups with them. These things are without a doubt, the most difficult grips that I own (even more difficult than my 3 inch. rotating handles). I have my work cut out for me. I plan on using these first for one handed lat pull downs and then I will transition to negative pull ups, as I get more acclimated. I won't stop until I am banging out full reps with them...thanks for a solid product.

Takes your pullups to the next level.
I ordered large not really knowing what size I should get. Should have gotten a smaller size. I can use them, but not for the amount of reps of pull ups I want to do. I'm afraid to get the smaller ones, not sure about how it would handle my weight because I ordered the Escape climbing balls and one of them got loose on the bolt. I weigh 215. Kinda bummed because I actually like them, just afraid to buy the smaller ones.

Recommended - beautiful, effective, affordable
I purchased these to build grip variety into my pull-up practice. I'm very picky about quality and these exceeded my expectations. In the past I've owned smaller diameter, coated steel piston / nunchuck type grips from Rogue. I'm finding the natural hard-wood to be a beautiful and superior gripping surface at roughly half the price. I'm still searching for an affordable carabiner with a gate large enough to accept my pull-up bar and a diameter that will pass through the eye screw, but until then these guys will permanently remain on simple rope loops.P.S. Prepare to be humbled by these and have your chalk at the ready ;)

Chalk up and get to work!
Got these and cannonball grips with straps and clips few days ago and put both of them to use at the gym right after getting them.Used them with chalk on the hands and had no problems with slipping.A great workout tool for building grip strength!

No straps:
Exactly what I wanted. However, expect it not to come with any straps or rope to put through the eyelit, to mount them on hooks or to have some length added to them

I bought the Large ones first and I have to build up to them so I had to get these. If i had to buy more than 1 set of grips I would have gone the DIY route but lack of free time and eagerness to want to start training again right away helped with my purchase and I am very happy with them. Good quality smooth wood. Use chalk obviously dont listen to those that say these are slippery. Anything without chalk is slippery....

Good
It’s pretty solid. Wish it came with straps and a carabiner though. Got the large size and it’s tough; I have to push off a bit with my feet to get some momentum to pull myself up. It’ll definitely improve my grip strength though.

Love Them
These are really great. If you are looking to build grip strength than this is the way to go. You really have to grip them. Would recommend.
