I got this for $110 through an amazon warehouse deal. It came in with the complaints for others I've seen mentioned, like it was handled roughly in transit to Amazon: handle broken on the side. I got it anyway to see for myself. Came in broken. I contacted the manufacturer since it still has the same warranty. First, the phone number in the manual is misprinted, off by a number so look online. I don't have it handy. Talked to a guy, emailed a copy of my receipt and they promptly shipped me a new base, the piece it all mounts to with the controls etc. I was told the usual "6-8 weeks" but I think it came in 10 days or so. All I needed was a replacement arm for lift, so instead of taking it all apart, I just removed the one lift control arm, swapped in the other from the new base and that's it. Easier than swapping the whole thing over.The picture doesn't really do the chair justice. It looks a lot better, it doesn't look like cheap shiny vinyl. It's clearly imitation leather, but a good one, with a soft, not slick, texture. Also the side bolsters are perforated. The chair is very padded, capable of a good height. I'm 6' and I don't like sitting down low. It can go even higher than *I* like, which is saying something. Arms raise/lower nicely, it has a full set of chair adjustments including full chair tilt, not just the back, although you can do that too. Very comfortable.I waited a year to review to see if the pneumatic lift would die or padding would flatten and neither of those has happened. No issues with color, stitching, wear,despite getting a lot of use. I don't know who made this for real, it's not a "Serta", surely, but in this case I got MORE than I paid for, despite the initial trouble to get it right. $110 was more than a bargain.

See the end for fitment. This chair is gravy to assemble, took me about 5 minutes. it's rather comfy, far better then your run of the mill unit. The adjustability is absolutely through the roof. You can raise and lower the entire back, lumbar goes in and out, armrests go up/down in/out, the levers let you individualy lock the backrest angle and the seat angle. All that doesn't come without compromise though, it does have a lot more play than most chairs. Everything is kinda wiggly. However I totally forgive that solely because of how big this chair is. Im a tall guy and with the seat all the way down my feet just sit flat on the floor, all the way up and they are floating 3" off the floor! from the Hips out I have 1.5" on each side to the side of the seat. And about 1" from the front of the seat to the back of my leg. The back is 2" over my shoulders. im very happy with the oversized nature of this chair and am very glad after 4 chairs I found one to fit me.

The cushions are very comfortable and the adjustments are great for getting a perfect "fit." I have back problems, and I've had one of these chairs for years and it's been perfect for me. It finally wore out and I've had to order another one. One caveat -- Seat is 20" off the floor, measuring from floor to top of seat. You can raise it to 23" from floor to top of seat. I'm 5'4" tall, so my feet were hanging 3" off the floor when I sat with the seat at lowest position. Serta has another model that is 3" inches shorter, so if you're short like me contact them directly and ask for the shorter version of this chair. THIS DID NOT WORK FOR ME. It did lower the chair down, but not enough. I finally gave the chair to a couple who are a bit taller than me and are both heavy. The wife loves it. The husband has short legs, and his legs don't touch the floor.

Having sought out a good quality office chair for telecommuting at home for over 3 years, I decided to pay for comfort over style and looks. I could not be happier. The chair is extremely sturdy and comfortable and provides the adjustable armrests that I so desperately looked for. At 6’, 225lbs, I was tired of trying shop club and office store chairs only to be extremely disappointed with the chairs either breaking or lacking the comfort and support I need for long work days and occasional gaming with my family. I would definitely buy this chair again. My only recommendations would be to add adjustable lumbar support and offer the chair in different colors and covering. Well worth the money spent.
