Behringer 297 DUAL PORTAMENTO/CV UTILITIES Legendary Analog Portamento Controller and CV Utilities for Eurorack

The Behringer Roland 297 Dual Portamento/CV Utilities module is a mixed bag. While it has a very useful CV mixer, which I use extensively, the dual portamento is very weak. There is zero effect for the bottom ¾ of the slider, while the top quarter extreme is barely worthwhile. I even cascaded them in series to try and get more portamento and it was like one was canceling out the other. No difference in the delay. While the portamento is just okay and works for general stuff, it has no extremes for wild swings or other effects. To me, the CV utilities part is the most useful. Still recommended.

This is a really useful module, but the choice of pots on the portamento are exponentially wrong and makes it near impossible to use as the curve is far from linear. 4 stars as the rest of the module makes up for it

Im Grunde erhält man zu einem sehr günstigen Preis drei Module in einem. drei Module in einemDer Gesamtklang ist sehr gut, die drei Wellenformen klingen wirklich analog, die Dreieckswellenform ist kristallklar und die Rechteck- und Sägewelle haben einen guten harmonischen Gehalt. Die Preis/Leistung mit mehr als anständiger Verarbeitung und musikalisch sehr gut einsetzbarem Klang ist aus meiner Sicht hervorragend. Das VCO Tracking läuft stabil und den Klang der Square find ich einfach richtig gut!Als Besitz älterer Roland Synths von mir eine absolute Kaufempfehlung nicht nur für Einsteiger.
