Vallejo76.515 Model Wash Paint 35 ml, Light Grey

Excellent light colour wash
Excellent product that does what it claims. It is a wash and therefore quite thin and watery; repeated applications may be needed to build up a depth of colour for some situations. Instructions are brief and in several European languages. As another reviewer stated, it is 35 ml size and should last a long time. There is a dropper top (with a flip-up cap) if you need a little on a palette or glass plate you can remove the complete cap to dip a brush. If you don't leave it too long, errors can be easily corrected with a clean wet brush or Q-tip. Once dry, it is permanent. The brand and product was not previously known or used.

Gives your
I use this for weathering my model AFVs, which is what itβs designed for.I make 1:35 scale models. I finish my models with a satin acrylic varnish using a spray brush. Once this is dry I apply the wash using a large soft brush. It pools in areas where you would expect dust to collect. I have found by letting it dry over night, I can apply another layer and so build up the amount of dust on a model. It does need to be regularly shaken in the bottle when using.

I never used any Wash on my kits before
I never used any Wash on my kits before, then I discovered some years ago that you can make the kits look more realistic. Yes, there is a procedure to get the best from these weathering products, but when you see the results, you should be impressed.

Green not sandy in colour.
Unfortunately, it's difficult to rate this highly as mine is green and not a light sand colour at all. No amount of mixing or shaking helps.Presumably just a dud but frustrating. All other Vallejo products I've bought have been A1 though.
