SUIZAN Replacement Blade for Ryoba Double Edge Saw 8"

This is exactly what I needed to make more intricate cuts I am not able to make with powered saws. The thin flexible blade allows for your more detailed cuts. Are there better saws out there? Absolutely. However, not at this price point. For the weekend woodworking hobbyest, this is exactly for you. It's hard to buy quality tools without handling them first. I am a skeptical tool buyer when shopping on line. I have no problem sending tools back to the seller if it doesn't meet my expectations. Trust me when I say, this a good tool for it's price.

a bit shorter blade than I was expecting, but the steel is top quality and it cuts alder like butter. haven't tried tenons yet but I suspect it will take careful setup to not drift off line. thin kerf and flexible blade means it won't correct a bad start but start it on line and straight and the cut will need little cleanup.

My first Japanese saws came from Japan Woodworker Catalog and they were ridiculously sharp. I have been a fan since. After 20 years I noticed the blades were beginning to dull and cutting became harder, so I ordered 2 new saws here, Suizan. They appeared to be the same but perhaps only slightly sharper than my original saws at a fraction of the cost. However, I would gladly pay more for better quality than this saw. It’s adequate but a far cry from a true Japanese saw. I am disappointed.

I'm an amateur wood worker at best. I've always found using traditional western saws difficult. This pull saw is great. It makes sawing wood kinda fun even. I've purchased one of these for myself and I liked it so much I got one as a gift for my brother in law. I would recommend this as a gift to any hobbyist wood worker or up. At the price pick one up for yourself, too. I promise you won't regret it.

This little saw is very nice for hand cutting wood. Y husband ordered it to help make clean cuts in thinner woods for projects that he is working on. He really likes the ease and maneuverability of this saw. I would definitely recommend!

Boy, this saw works great. It didn't take long to get used to the pull. It is extremely accurate if you let the saw cut. It's worth every penny.

A pesar de su tamaño, ésta sierra es capaz de hacer cortes con gran rapidez y precisión con muy poco esfuerzo. He trabajado toda mi vida con sierras "occidentales" y no me costó ningún trabajo hacer la transición. Está herramienta sin duda me satisface completamente. Recomiendo la marca ampliamente. Compraré más de está línea conforme pueda hacer el gasto, pero está sierra me parece la ideal para comenzar con el trabajo.

Rápido, preciso y sin esfuerzo en el corte, buen control en cortes angulados, muy bueno para colas de milano. Una delicia en el corte.

Es buena calidad por el precio, lo lo he usado en maderas duras y no puedo dar una opinión en general pero con lo que he visto si es calidad precio.

Es la primera vez que utilizo una sierra japonesa y la verdad es una chulada...corte muy preciso y fino...seguramente las usaré mucho más que el típico serrucho.
