12Pcs Mandrel Mounted White Conical Felt Point Polishing Tool

I polished the cast iron stand of an antique Singer sewing machine. It has lots of corners and tapered places that I cannot reach with a conventional polishing pad. These worked very well and lasted well. If I had done this project with a rag and polishing compound, it would have take a long, long time. These conical shaped felt points mounted in a pneumatic polishing tool shortened the time spent considerably.

Bought these to polish feed ramps and barrels on some guns I was building. They worked great for that purpose.

came exactly as described in the product info. however my use for these dont let these last very long. i am using them to polish feed ramps on firearms and slides etc. if you catch an edge these things shred like soft toilet paper on a really rough clean up... haha

I was joyfully anticpating the arrival of these mandrels./ other ones I had ued, the felt ends had too be screwed on to the end of a shaft and eventually would spin right off. When I recieved them, [FAST SHIPPING, THANKS AMAZON], I put them immediatley to the test.. Much to my chagrin, at low speeds, the shaft vibrated quite a bit, not giving me a smooth polishing surface to work with. To compinsate for this I had to incease the speed significantley before the action of the shaft let me polish more smoothly.. I thought, well ,perhaps that this particular shaft was the only one like that. But after trying the rest, they were all like the first one., out of round and vibrating , leaving them worthless to uase at low speeds, which I need a lot, in my work.

Couldn't find these locally for some reason but they work great for my uses in polishing feed ramps and trigger bars. They work great on little or detailed polishing projects.

Great for polishing feed ramps on all my pistols.

I needed felt with a smaller footprint. These work for polishing rocks and the narrow size is good for uneven rocks.
