Shop FoxW1411 Fence Only without Rails

I don’t think you can buy a better fence. There is absolutely no deflection when you lock it down. It’s also designed to accommodate the Board Buddies anti kickback rollers. I mounted it to an older unisaw. It can be made to work with any saw as the rails are 1 1/2” x 3/16” angle iron. Do your research on mounting this if your saw isn’t listed to fit the Shopfox

Bought this to upgrade an old (12") Craftsman table saw #113.24250. This fence is vastly superior to the clumsy sliding fence that came on the original Craftsman. Rolls smoothly & easily locks into position. The negatives are the cost was quite high and it did not come with its own mounting rails. I chose to make my own mounting rails mostly to add a little travel distance. I wouldn't recommend making your own rails but in my case I work in a machine shop so access to metal working equipment was readily available. Overall very pleased with the product.

I was fairly pleased with the fence until I realized that you can't use it if you want to make 45° bevel cuts, it's too large and it was hitting or obstructing the motor from tilting on my older Craftsman table saw.

the junior uni- saw I used this on only has a twenty five inch top. it required 1" steel spacers and longer grade five bolts. I supplied the 1 1/2 inch angle iron instead of the factory rails so I get a 48" crosscut. now it gets a fold down outfeed behind and a fixed table to the right.
