Hey, so I got this SmartMike+ thing, and guess what? The app for it isn't even on the Google Play store for my Samsung s22 Ultra. What a joke! And they still have the audacity to sell this useless mic on Amazon. Without the app, it's USELESS. Don't waste your money on this, trust me.

This mic is good, the quality is good, it is easy to setup, it works just like advertised... HOWEVER, If you want to use Filmic Pro, it will be difficult, and Facebook Live, or any other video app is, well, impossible . You can basically only use this microphone with the SmartMike + app. The app is pretty good, but if you want to use any other apps, you will have to buy another one of these just to use as a receiver, and then you will have to plug the receiver directly into your phone which totally defeats the purpose of this mic, which is the bluetooth capabilities. You may as well buy a wireless lab kit for the same amount of money -- pretty frustrating. Also, it has a tendency to record artifacts here and there, the mouth sync is off sometimes, and the video app tends to lag a little bit when recording.

Easy to use, real good quality

I’m so disappointed that I bought this and didn’t realize you HAVE to use their app to record audio. It’s literally worthless if you don’t use their app which doesn’t compare to iphone camera clarity

Great device, easy to use/setup, and well worth the money. The sound quality is really good for a Bluetooth device. We used it for several days of interviews in a retail store in a converted large warehouse during normal business hours. The directionality of the pick up worked impressively well, capturing very little of the background noise. We had no issues with the range and the battery life was great, although admittedly we haven’t ran it out yet. I would definitely recommend this product.

could not get it to work with any other app e.g. facetime or recorder or as microphone for a telephone conversation.The device registers as 'headphone' and other options on iphone bluetooth is 'hearing aid, speaker, other' . Clearly none as 'microphone'have barely used it, was hoping to get some info on how to use it with other apps but none available. Just hoping that the vendor will update their app to make it work. Now it is just clutter on my desk.

Two weeks ago I purchased black microfone, but I’ve got a silver. Ok, I understand, sometimes mistakes happen, but replaced item arrived silver again. Moreover - in damaged product box. I lost 3 weeks. What a great service…
