Rohto Melano CC Intensive Anti-Spot Essence - Japan Imported

I feel like most vitamin C products fall into three categories: super expensive, formulation/delivery system/type of vitamin C is wrong, or prone to quickly oxidize. Melano CC would seem to be an exception, with its one downside that we don’t know the percentage of L-AA. However for me the results I’ve seen if fading both acne PIE and PIE from a fall on asphalt on my face (as used as part of a routine that includes Niacinamide, tretinA, AHA, SPF50 PA++++, and snail) have been extremely impressive. I can not guaranty that the results are from Melano CC or the combination of it an other products but given the price and how long the Melano CC lasts I have no qualms about rebuying. As I say above most of the other highly recommended options have serious downsides. I can live with not knowing the active percentage as long as I see results.

I received the package sooner than expected and I immediately tried it on. At first I got small bumps on my face and was about to give up, but I researched and found that new products may cause small bumps to your complexion. Unless it’s cystic acne it’s good to continue using it. I did continue using it and I have to say my acne scars are looking better and the bumps disappeared after a few days.

At 56, my skin is beautiful. Everyday and night I use cc Melano! So happy I found it, and the price is awesome.

I read about this on reddit and decided to give it a try! I added this to my skin care regimen the last two weeks and I feel it really has started to fade some of my stubborn acne marks! Definitely will continue to use! I have sensitive skin and haven't had any issues with this as of yet :)

My skin might be too sensitive to use this. I introduced it slowly to my routine, no more than once every 2 days and only at night time to help with the sun sensitivity issues. But it ended up damaging my moisture barrier. My skin ended up shiny in some parts, dry in others, patches of redness and enlarged pores. Took two weeks to bounce back. I wanted desperately to love this, but not for me unfortunately.

This is now my holy grail. Nothing else has ever faded my PIH and PIE faster. Amazing product.

I've been using the Melano CC Anti-Spot Essence for a little over a month now. I apply it every day, 2-3x per day as the very last step of my skincare routine. This guy works the best when applied to fresh acne scars: I had some big and ugly pimples that I picked at (bad, I know!) but consistently immediately applying this product to the spot significantly reduced the appearance of the scars in about 2-3 days. For older acne scars, this product doesn't work as well and I'll probably look for something else to help tackle those problem areas. But for the price of this vitamin C product, it has been a happy addition to my skincare collection.

I really like this vitamin C serum. Has a nice citrus scent. The texture is oily & I feel like I have to use several drops (6-7) for my face. It absorbs quickly & leaves my skin feeling soft & smooth. I haven't noticed any piling when I layer moisturizer or sunscreen on top. Its thicker than other vit C serums i have tried. The tube lets out a drop at a time. I had to put on my fingertips & pat into my skin, because it's awkward dripping from tube onto face.I haven't been using it long enough to notice results like brightening, but I like how my skin feels & looks after using it. Good price & worth trying.

The consistency is not the best to work with, but I find that rubbing it between my palms and patting it into my face minimizes this product's oily/foamy consistency, so my face can absorb it easier. Keep in mind that this product should come out completely clear. If it is brown, then the Vitamin C has oxidized and will no longer work. With that being said, since using this product, I've noticed a reduction in redness and acne scars of varying degrees. The product really works wonders on newer acne scars, but it does still reduce older scars to some extent. I am thoroughly impressed.

Good vitamin c for an excellent value. My skin is loving that product. My new holy Grail.
