I spent way too much on it. If I wasn't in a pinch I would have returned it. I didn't realize how little 10oz was especially for that price. I found some at costco for half the price and 4x as much and more pink.

I had heard a lot about the health benefits of pink Himalayan sea salt, so I decided to buy this brand and try it out. I received it a few days ago and have tried it a few times, once in a cooked dish and twice like table salt. Maybe I expected the flavor to differ quite a bit from standard sea salt, but it really does taste just about the same as your ordinary white sea salt. This salt cooks well and dissolves well in warm water, and it doesn't leave any strange aftertaste or anything, so I am quite happy with it.
