When people say "abolish the police", it lands as a radical statement. However, with the help of this book, that statement transforms from radical to obvious, by providing frameworks for implementing restorative justice practices for your own community. When we all lean in, it eliminates the harm police impose on community level problems by perpetuating the abuse cycle of jailing and policing. Abolish the police means leaning into your community with solidarity. This book teaches you how.

Useless.
This is supposed to be a workbook or help or something. Instead it's a rant of the author complaining about what's wrong in America. I bought it hoping to find information on how to lead community based discussions. This book will NOT tell you how to do that. It's just a collection of colored pictures and random writing prompts. I'm super disappointed.
