Just know that it is in its raw form, which means it is VERY hard. I cut mine up with a sharp knife. It will literally melt in your hands by rubbing them together. It actually feels very cool in temperature when you do this. I bought the product for my skin, in replacement of lotions which has way too many ingredients in it....mainly water, which dries the skin out.

I received this product yesterday and made my body butter the same day. I have ordered/used other cocoa butter products in the past, but I am so happy I ordered this one. it was soft and creamy so it was easy to melt. The smell was great. I have had others that were very hard and had to heat it to remove it from the container. I have had the cocoa butter chips that were hard and they all dried to the same stiff and hard consistency. Because of this, I had to keep adding more of the carrier oil to get it to the whipped consistency. This, in turn, made my body butter very greasy. I was a long grueling process. I am happy I ordered this!! This is a softer one. Its creamy and easy to remove. It glides on the skin very smooth. The only reason why I did not give it 5 stars was because I haven't used it long enough to determine anything else. I literally only had it for a few hours? :)

I come back due to this one I bought to rid my dark spots don’t work . It didn’t make my skin soft and shiny but as far as getting rid of dark spots it don’t do nothing I used it loyally

This cocoa butter is very thick and moisturizing. I also like the container. I put a few ounces of water in a saucepan and take the lid off the cocoa butter container and put it in the saucepan. The butter melts down so fast and the cocoa butter container does not lose its shape. I will definitely purchase this product again.

Smell is fine, constancy is very hard. Unable to work it at all to get any out of the container. Only way is to microwave it to soften it. Not user friendly.

It's very hard, so I guess I need to spoon some out and melt it in the microwave.
