The diameter of this exercise ball and every exercise ball I've purchased in the last two weeks is exaggerated by 20cm. I don't know why but it is. Many reviews on Amazon mention this too. I've purchased exercise balls from Gaiam, Bodyfit, Gold's Gym, Perfect Fitness, and GoFit from Wal-mart, Target, Sports Authority, and Amazon and they all have an exaggerated diameter by 20cm. When I purchased this ball I was looking for a 65cm ball so I ordered the 85cm ball. Sure enough when I it arrived I measured the circumference and divided by 3.14 and got 65cm. Having purchased 6 balls in the last two weeks I've learned that I should buy a ball that doesn't stink and is not banned by California for cancer causing reasons. This ball is sold from a company in California, it doesn't stink (a little smell), and doesn't carry the banned in California cancer warning. I use this ball to sit on at my desk so I needed a specific height (65cm). I am 5'9", 175lbs and this ball fits pretty well.

I have this ball fully inflated (very tightly inflated, in fact) and it is only 25in/63.5cm. There is no way it can be inflated anymore than that without bursting it while using it.Since I bough this ball to replace my desk chair, I will have to return it.Can anyone recommend an ACTUAL 85cm ball?

I was one that never gave exercise ball a second thought; I thought it was a variant of yoga or something like that.But, I have come to find out the ball improves your balance when sitting on it for anything.It is great for your "core" strength when you sit on the ball doing upper body exercises. All your muscles from your feet on the floor clear up to the muscles in your neck.It is an unrated, amazing piece of workout equipment!!

I was able to pump the ball full with the hand pump. It took about 15-20 minutes of straight pumping with a few breaks. You just have to be tenacious, it is possible! The ball is very sturdy and a nice purple. It hasn't deflated much after much use. Every few days I give it a few more pumps with the hand pump to make it more solid.

The ball is what you are expecting and should meet exercise and physical therapy needs.You absolutely will not be able to inflate it with the hand pump you receive. You need an air pump to get the main inflation done. The hand pump will be useful for adding inflation once you have it filled. There is no circumference tape to let you know if correctly inflated. This will be critical if you are using it for a chair ball or any physical therapy and it is under inflated. If you over inflate you risk damage or injury. Directions recommend a ruler which is not possible to get accuracy. Overall, I am fine with the product but was disappointed by the lack of commitment to the key function of inflating it properly and easily.Also the one I got was purple. Fortunately that was a better color for me. The color in the ad is orange.

This is exactly the size ball I needed for my physical therapy but I really wanted the color shown and received orange. Good product, I just get irritated when I don't receive EXACTLY what I order.

my wife had me order this after we came back from a vacation in Texas. we are tall and our backs were hurting from the drive. this ball is a non violent way of stretching and feeling better.

Thick material, includes plug remover and hand pump. Was very pleased to receive silver ball instead of purple, but beware that your ball may be a different color than pictured.
