Good choice for the money
Solidly built and fits the tripod snuggly, My one complaint is that the thumb screw is a little awkward and sometimes has to be loosened a little to fold down. Also, I wished that you had a base plate that could be purchased so it could be used with other 1/4"x20 accessories.

PERFECT for my SUNPAK 5800D
I got a SUNPAK 5800D "Platinum Plus" tripod at a thrift store for a few bucks because the plate was missing. Found this one, and since the price doesn't break the bank I purchased it. Fits perfectly; very happy! Bought two more for my other cameras to avoid constant switching around.

Fits the tripod body - but you must know/measure the size of the bottom base
Good spare mount. Excellent value for the money. Gave 4 stars for versatility as the screw is slightly shorter than the original. Works on most devices, however the Polystudio has a recessed mounting hole and the screw does not quite reach. The original still works so it is not a big deal for me.

Fit perfect way better than original
Bought this for a sunpak ultra 7000tm and it works perfect and is much higher quality than the one that came with the tripod
