ZOIC Commercial Air Pump, 317 GPH 2.32 PSI 20watts 110V Electromagnetic Hydroponics,Aquarium,Pond Air Pump,Fish Tanks

Extremely loud, i was hoping to replace my ecoplus 795gph pump with something more quiet so i figured this had less then half the GPH it surly should be 10-20 DB lower in sound and it still had more then 4 outlets that i needed...I got it in the mail, and straight away noticed that no ground wire was included as advertised in the pictures hooked to the screw in the back and no ground was in the power cord as well...I unplugged my current eco plus pump that measures between 60-65 DB of sound and plugged this into the same position (also semed to be the same size as the 795GPH eco plus) It made more of a high piched noise that carried throughout the house, I let it warm up for about an hour thinking maybe it would quiet down but seemed to continually get louder. I measured the sound and it was 75-80 DB with delivering less then half the air flow as the eco plus...Not to mention this pump is more expensive then the eco plus and element 0 500GPH pumps.
