Amazing!!!
Okay starting with Dylan she's a badass who breaks ppl's jaws on regular notice, but she always has jace to back her up when she needs him even tho he hates her guts bcz he thinks she did something. The best part is Oakley, cole and jace's banters, they're hella funny and sooooo entertaining!! This book is a solid 5 star!!

It has every element of a perfect enemies-to-lovers high school romance.
Ashley Jade created another twisted and adrenaline fuelled story in Cruel Prince, the first book in Royal Hearts Academy series. It has every element of a perfect enemies-to-lovers high school romance. Complicated characters with their flawed, intense and broken personalities. A storyline that will keep you on the edge all through the story. And of course Ashley Jade's powerful writing.Dylan is back at Royal Hearts Academy after years after a disgraceful family incident. And she has no idea why her once best friend and forever love Jace Covington hates her so much. So starts the intense and intoxicating saga of love, lust, betrayal, pain and friendship. Dylan is an amazing character. I love the combination of strength, sass , courage, compassion and beauty in this girl. And Jace Covington is a beautiful trauma to my heart. His soul is dark with guilt and shame. His heart is burning with rage and anger to almost everything in his world. And these two vulnerable and shattered souls will take you to a bumpy and satisfying ride.Ashley Jade brings out one intense emotion after another in this story. The chemistry between Dylan and Jace is so heartbreaking. The push and pull. The scorching hot passion laced with angst and regret. The all consuming hate hiding absoultely breathtaking longing. The plot will keep you on your toes with the secrets, twists and turns.Cruel Prince by Ashley Jade was a heart-rending, sensational and aching story of redemption, passion and all consuming love. Ashley Jade's poignant and impassioned writing made this a stunning story.Received ARC for Honest review

enemies to lovers / highschool bully romance
The story is about a couple who were best friends once, but due to massive misunderstandings and secrets between them they lost each other. Not only our hero lost his best friend and love of his life but also his brother. Things start to take a ugly turn from then. Now our heroine is back in the town again due to her will and she needs to survive the years of wrath of our heroine who still loves her with all his heart. It’s an emotional + bully romance. We see lot of scenes in which one emotions is described in a fantastic manner.

Don’t be fooled by reviews
It’s an ok book..way too lengthy without any reason and it doesn’t have any “cruel” factor in the cruel prince

Disappointing book
My Rating: 🌟🌟3/4Type: Can be read as StandaloneGenre: Contemporary Fiction Romance, YA, High school BullyPrimary Characters: Dylan and JaceNarration: Dual POVI read reviews on this book from several fellow bookstagrames . I was intrigued after that. Somehow it didn’t leave up to my expectation. Story was very predictable; I was sort of bored after some point. Ex childhood best friends turned enemies because of miscommunication and tragedy seemed interesting but drama was too much for me.As blurb says Dylan is back in Royal Hearts Academy after four years. For reasons unknown to her, her childhood best friend Jace and his family hates hers now. Jace not only doesn’t like Dylan, he’s down right cruel to her. I could understand with time why he was so hurt and even though I hate that miscommunication thing that always happens, I can understand more with this situation. The best part of the book is, it toggles between past and present which gives more info at right times.Plot become very much predictive. Character development in past is good, but it wasnt up to the present not so good. Dylan is strong and feisty and pushes back Jace, yet it wasn’t sufficient. I didn't like Jace. I just couldn’t connect with him. I didn't get attached to the characters, the bully wasn't all that bully, it was more like a drama. Writing style is ok. Cole, Sawyer and Oakley were intriguing but not enough for me to pick up next book in series.Overall, it was disappointing to me. Read for yourself and let me know your view on this.

Solid Character Dialog, Natural Flow
Thoroughly enjoyed this one! Ashley Jade's ability to write smooth, natural character dialog is top-notch. I so appreciate that! It makes for a more worthwhile reading experience and just a fun time. This story had me glued to the pages, read it in one sitting. I read some reviews upset with how Jace treats Dylan, but you have to get to the end for it to make complete sense why he acts the way he does. Once you do, you won't be so upset with him - you'll end up understanding and sympathizing. I really had a good time with this book, and I'm immediately hopping into the next, Ruthless Knight. There were definitely some exciting tidbits thrown in about Sawyer & Cole that has me chopping at the bit to get straight into it. I adored Sawyer's spunk. I wish there were more feisty female characters like her around these romance book streets. Sadly and extremely disappointingly, they are few and far between. A. Jade is quickly becoming one of my favorite romance authors. Her books (writing style, character dialog & plot) are consistently reliable, with the exception of Hate Me, which was slightly too sensational for my tastes. I also can't fail to mention how fantastic the cheeky banter was in this book, along with some of the shenanigans some characters got up to. There is a dic pic incident that had me rolling out loud with laughter. It was fabulously hilarious!

My Thoughts....
I don't know why it took me so long to read this book, considering I love Ashley Jade!I absolutely loved this book, this story, and everyone involved.I did feel there was a bit of unresolved things. However, they weren't vital to the love story. The strength of Dylan is amazingly written and felt throughout the book.Jace's struggles are also beautifully written.Loved it and the side characters we perfect!I am looking forward to the rest of the books.
