Different and very good.
Went in with an open mind and I was very surprised at just how good this is.Perfect grind for most sticky, great build quality, unique way of having a siv bowl rather than a separate piece.. Yeah, it's now my favourite 'large' grinder. Others grind differently, feel different etc, but for me this is a perfect all rounder.Its worth trying if you can afford.

Not as good as I hoped
Was excited to receive the headchef grinder thinking it would be superior to my old grinder but to be honest, it doesn't grind that good. Was pretty disappointed.Ordered as I was wanting a 60mm size grinder with large bowl but this just seems to grind into big lumps... Tried same herb in my old grinder and it was nice and fluffy10 out of 10 for looks1 out of 10 for grind qualitySlightly gutted

Well built but I don’t think it’s worth the money
So first off this is not at a bad grinder, it’s very well built and hard wearingHowever, I expected a “head chef” grinder to grind up a lot better, it doesn’t grind really it just breaks them into smaller chunks which in turn makes you have to change your rolling style if you like a tight rollIn hindsight, I wouldn’t have paid this price and I’d have got a grinder with normal style teeth

Honestly as the title suggest this has become the only grinder I use. Best and last grinder I will ever buy!

could be okay, not yet convinced ... UPDATE = MEH
The media could not be loaded. UPDATE:Down to 2 stars - needs cleaning once every two weeks at least otherwise it becomes unusable, the large teeth in the top part pick up gunk like its their job to do so... if you leave it too long the pieces get stuck and you have to chuck it in the freezer. Further - the dust screen does nothing, I have not been able to collect anything via this, probably the mesh is too small.Re metal shavings concerns - haven't seen anything since my last review, so - it's not dangerous, it's just a bit rubbish.OLD REVIEW:GOOD: Looks cool af, good size, nice grip on the top piece.BAD: Turned up with lots of tiny knicks, scratches and dents inside and out - hard to show using phone camera but they are on all pieces in various places. There was some dusty residue from where the magnet was stuck in too... not great.I am a little worried that metal will end up coming off during use but I have cleaned it with iso ready to use and will update after some time.

A bit disappointed
At the beginning I was so happy because that my first headchef and new design future was great but after 30days of using I need vto complete clean because I couldn't move it at all (Never happened to my previous much cheaper) and the and I'm happy but headchef should improve future design of grinders
